condition and appearance.
PROJECTS
Northrop YB-49:
• Engaged in a multidisciplinary team as aerodynamic lead and completed a reverse engineering of
flying wing YB-49.
• Formulated mathematical models using solid works, CFD analysis and other methods of computer
analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to customer engineering requirements.
• Converted fighter plane (YB-49) to conventional aircraft carrying 80 PAX passengers, according to
FAR-25 regulations.
Performance Project:
• Performed a preliminary drag coefficient calculation, A/C performance calculation and propeller
analysis for P-39 mustang.
Structures Project:
• Studied behavior of material under stress and bending using various techniques such as; Tensile Test
Material response, four point bending test of an I-beam.
• Plan or conduct experimental, operational, or stress tests on models or prototypes using shear center
experiment, column-buckling experiment, and composite material experiment.
Wind Tunnel Test:
• Worked on several wind tunnel tests for scaled aircrafts and estimated aerodynamic coefficients, and
qualified shock-waves behavior of super-sonic wind tunnel test.
