These criteria have been expressed in simple mathematics:
o In lead V1, the R wave is larger than the S wave.
o In lead V6, the S wave is larger than the R wave.
o Lead I is slightly more negative ( Right Axis Deviation )

a previous inferior

notice the deep Q
waves in leads V3

the result of another
lateral infarction that
occurred
years ago.
