Our Assigned Task: To create a standardized cleaning instructional manual which would yield the following results: Standardize the current new member training method Decrease overall task completion time for both experienced and new employees Enforce a single, standardized method of cleaning frozen yogurt machines to cut training costs and boost employee performance Provide Forte Frozen Yogurt with additional instructional documentation necessary to eventually expand the brand into a franchise

6. Our Process: The manager of Forte gave a demonstration of the cleanup process This demonstration was used to construct a training manual To ensure the accuracy of the manual, it was revised by the owner of Forte

Testing Method: Three employees were tested with the training manual The average cleaning time was approximately 1.15 hours Employees were asked to fill out the Training Evaluation Form Results from the Training Evaluation Form showed that the new training manual benefitted the three employees tested

Our Results: The task completion time of a trainee aided ONLY by the cleaning manual will have a performance time well above the 1 hour target completion time The most efficient training method to be utilized by Forte would be a combination of both hands-on training and use of the training manual as additional aid
