Manufacture of OPC and PPC (Fly Ash based) under the guidelines
of Bureau of Indian Standards.
2. Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensuring the chemical and physical analysis of Clinker, gypsum and Cement through
In-house laboratory to make formulation of the raw material required for the
production of Cement.
Making heat and mass balance calculations and Air flow calculations for optimising
the Process of Production for Clinker and Cement.
To ensure and make necessary changes in feed RPM and other processes in Kiln and
cement mill to meet required specifications (BIS) in the finished Product while aiming
to maximise the Production rate.
Optimising the process to reduce the energy costs and to ensure the workability of
the Plant machinery bucket elevators, table feeders, Re- Circulating fans, Air Slides,
Precalciners, classifiers and cyclone separators etc.; thereby reducing the
maintenance costs.
Ensure the proper functioning of the vertical roller mill for achieving the desired feed
for clinkerization.
Making calculations for the installation of grinding media inside cement mill for
achieving the desired specific surface (Fineness).
Ensure the proper Utility operations while checking the parameters through different
instruments for the smooth functioning of the Plant.
Providing engineering support in plant operations, monitoring process equipment,
repairing faulty parts and processing the complete production stage.
Maintain the records of raw material as Limestone, clay, gypsum, sand, clinker and

Project Title: Setting up of a Small Scale Pharmaceutical Industry for Manufacturing,
Formulation and packaging of medicine in the form of tablets, capsules
Syrup; its installation and Commissioning, with the facility of Extraction
unit under cGMP guidelines on PPP mode. (A National Level Project)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervising the on-going operations of the project:
Framing/ Evaluation of project report vis-à-vis Process design. Study of various
variables related to design to achieve efficiency and optimality.
Designing of the Water purification plant and Effluent Treatment Plant with assistance
in evaluating the PID’s and PFD’s along with General Arrangement drawings for the
installation and commissioning of the plants.
Preparing the Process drawings, SOPs and flow charts of various Extraction and
distillation processes conducted in the Extraction plant.
Reviewing the design documents, PIDs and PFDs made by consultant and the
vendors for efficient commissioning of the major Plant machineries and the
Utilities; Boiler, Air compressor, Chillers and Hot water generator
Reviewing the energy balance (heat and mass) documents and making necessary
modifications for the Installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Ensuring the Erection and commissioning of the civil structures required for the Plant
setup as per layouts provided by the consultant.

the commissioned machinery.

the consultant based on changed specifications.
