phenomena are relative.
• According to him
• “Relativity is the essence of the law of existence.
• "Time, space, movement, things are all relative and not

• Al-Kindi held at that time, space, motion and bodies are
relative to each other and not independent or absolute, and
he also considered them to be relative to other objects and
to the observer, like Einstein.

In his book Al- Falsafa-Al-Ula
“Aperson who sees an object smaller in size or larger according to
the vertical movement between the earth and the sky. If the person
goes up into the sky, he sees the trees smaller, if he moves to
earth, he sees the trees become large”

10. “We can not say that something is small or big in absolute terms.
But we can
say it is smaller or larger in relation to other objects”

• The idea expressed by Al-Kindi was very similar to what is disclosed in
the
Einstein theory of general relativity.
• According to Al-Kindi, objects, time, movement and space not only
relative to one another, but also to other objects and observers who
monitor them. Al- Kindi's opinion as to what Einstein disclosed.

illness

music
in the Arab-Islamic
world
• He is known to have written fifteen treatises
on music theory, but only five have
survived.
• His works included discussions on the
therapeutic value of music and what he
regarded as "cosmological connections" of
music

acknowledge truth and to assimilate it
from whatever source it comes to us
even if it is brought to us by former
generation and foreign people.
• For him who seeks the truth there is
nothing of higher value then truth itself it
never cheapens or debases him who
reaches for it but ennables and honors
him.
