Economic Balance desired by Shariah for ideal Islamic Society
The wealth and material status along with authorities of any public or
private office doesn’t give any gain to any king, monarch, man of
authority, saint or scholar
Man needs to be liberated of all these potential candidates of human
worship; Islamic balance and justice stops them all; limits them all; sets
them all accountable

18. Narrated `Ali: The Prophet ()ﷺ sent an army and appointed some man their
commander The man made a fire and then said (to the soldiers), "Enter it."
Some of them intended to enter it while some others said, 'We have run away
from it (i.e., embraced Islam to save ourselves from the 'fire')." They
mentioned that to the Prophet, and he said about people who had intended to
enter the fire. ''If they had entered it, they would have remained In it till the
Day of Resurrection.'' Then he said to others, "No obedience for evil deeds,
obedience is required only in what is good ."(Bukhari-7257)
Were there not only two basic obediences, would have caused drastically human
worship i.e. priest and king worship
Quran has established clear limitations to establish balances for the best of
human beings.
The above verse accepts the importance of people of authority specifically
religious, political and administrative grades, but forbade all possible
sources where they could have gone beyond the limits to exploit humanity
which is against all social balance aspects.
20. • Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Messenger ()ﷺ used to seek refuge with
Allah saying, "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from laziness, and seek
refuge with You from cowardice, and seek refuge with You from geriatric
old age, and seek refuge with You from miserliness." (Al-Bukhari- 6371)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah
()ﷺ said, "A strong believer is better and dearer to Allah than a weak one,
and both are good. Adhere to that which is beneficial for you. Keep asking
Allah for help and do not refrain from it. If you are afflicted in any way, do
not say: 'If I had taken this or that step, it would have resulted into such
and such,' but say only: 'Allah so determined and did as He willed.' The
word 'if' opens the gates of satanic thoughts".[Muslim-100]

30. Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As: Allah's Messenger ()ﷺ said, "O
`Abdullah! Have I not been formed that you fast all the day and stand in
prayer all night?" I said, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger ("!)ﷺ He said, "Do not do
that! Observe the fast sometimes and also leave them (the fast) at other
times; stand up for the prayer at night and also sleep at night. Your body has
a right over you, your eyes have a right over you and your wife has a right
over you." (Bukhari-5199)

Whenever Allah's Messenger ()ﷺ ordered the Muslims to do something, he used
to order them deeds which were easy for them to do, (according to their
strength and endurance). They said, "O Allah's Messenger (!)ﷺ We are not
like you. Allah has forgiven your past and future sins." So Allah's Apostle
became angry and it was apparent on his face. He said, "I am the most Allah
fearing, and know Allah better than all of you do."(Bukhari-13)
31. EXCESSIVE WORSHIP IS AGAINST BALANCE

and knowledgeable from Allah

• Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah entered the mosque (and he
found) a rope tied between the two pillars; so he said: What is this? They
said: It is for Zainab. She prays and when she slackens or feels tired she
holds it. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: Untie it. Let one pray as long
as one feels fresh but when one slackens or becomes tired one must stop it.
(And in the hadith transmitted by Zuhair it is:" He should sit down." (Muslim

her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly, "Do (good) deeds which is
within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired
(of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act of
Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done regularly." (Bukhari-42)
