2. Why there is a breakdown of communication?
(verbal and nonverbal communication)
•There is breakdown of communication because of Lack of Translation or
Misunderstanding/Miscommunication- This is the most common problem in communicating through
verbal and non verbal communication.
•There is a breakdown of communication because our focus is short and we tend to do other things,
our focus are easily turned up to other things.
•There is a breakdown of communication because of different opinions on a certain idea.
•There is a breakdown of communication because of pressure and overthinking.
3. Why there is a breakdown of communication?
(verbal and nonverbal communication)
What should we do?
•CLARIFICATION- We use verbal communication to inform, whether it is to inform others of our needs
or to impart knowledge. Clarification is a key component of verbal communication. Verbal
communication helps to clarify misunderstandings and provides missing information. Verbal
communication can be used to correct a wrong, where powerful words are more effective than an
action.
•LISTEN, UNDERSTAND, ASK AND OBSERVE- These 4 will help you understand what is main context of
the message of the sender. What is his/her message or idea that he/she wanted to share with you
and not to misinterpret it.
