During a seizure, clear the area of any obstructions or distractions. Loosen tight clothing on the patient to prevent suffocation, and place something comfortable under their head. Do not restrain the patient or put anything in their mouth. Once the seizure ends, reassure the patient and seek medical help if symptoms do not resolve or if multiple seizures occur.
