¿ ¿WHAT DOYOUTHINK CAN BE AN INSPIRING PRACTICE
FROMYOUR RFOS?
The inclusion of the extension of the eligibility window from the date of obtaining
the PhD degree for birth of children, adoption, family care for gender based on
the Call.
Inclusion a sections on gender dimension in research content in the application
submission forms, the mid-term and final technical report and, also, in the
evaluation reports and follow-up assessment.
The inclusion gender equality as a tie-breaker evaluation criteria
Awareness-raising and continuous training of members of the thematic areas,
technical commissions and evaluators, in matters of gender equality
The publication reports with data disaggregated by sex of the different calls.
The Creation of a strategic group of gender equality with representatives of all
unit of the AEI.

¿WHAT ARE THE NEXT IMPORTANT STEPS WITHYOUR
GEPS?
To improve the constitution of a Gender Equality Unit in the AEI, which
integrates all the activities related to equality.
To develop a protocol Gender-based against sexual harassment of
the AEI
To develop a New Gender Equality Plan including gender
balance/gender equality policies and gender dimension in research.

¿WHAT ARE THE NEXT IMPORTANT STEPS WITHYOUR
GEPS?
Particular attention will be paid
To ensuring gender balance in evaluation panels and in other
relevant advisory bodies, such as boards and expert groups.
To monitoring sex/gender disaggregated data on personnel and
annual reporting based on indicators.
To training awareness-raising/ training on gender equality and
unconscious gender biases for staff, peer reviewers and decision-
makers
To including a more prominent gender dimension in its internal and
external communication and marketing activities.
