I am a keen, able-bodied, and experienced worker with extensive skills gained from working in varied
environments and industries. I would very much like the opportunity to work for you as I feel that I can
be an asset to your team and can progress within your company.

 I have a vast amount of experience in the retail sector, both in customer facing and in manual
handling and organisational roles.
 I have good communication skills that I’ve developed during my time working with customers.
 I am able to work as part of a team and individually.
 Throughout my work history I’ve had to work to deadlines and targets, which I’ve consistently
achieved.
 I am computer literate and confident working with computers in the workplace.
Employment History
Morrisons Supermarket, Shrewsbury Store Assistant Apr 2013 – May 2013
I assisted with the loading and unloading goods from the delivery vans, putting stock away in the
warehouse in the correct locations, and keeping warehouse areas clear and clean.
Lidl Supermarket, Surrey Store Assistant Apr 2008 – Jul 2008
As Store Assistant I served customers and took payments, advised customers, assisted in locating
requested goods, provided information on products, stacked and displayed merchandise, and ordered
stock.
Argos Store, East Sussex Delivery Assistant Dec 2007
In this role we followed a planned route to deliver a number of packages to the customers. The delivery
duties involved checking the orders and pulling the correct stock from the storage areas, loading the
van, making delivery stops, making sure the customer was happy with the product, and returning to the
warehouse.
Tesco Stores, Surrey Customer Assistant Jan 2000 – Aug 2007
My role required me to answer customer queries and direct customers to product locations. I was also
called upon to support warehouse colleagues with deliveries, fill promotion ends and merchandising
units, as well as ensuring that the aisles are tidy and clear.
