WORK HISTORY
September 2014 – Present
I have been doing odd temporary work, whilst I searched for apprenticeships to help further
progress myself, my skills and knowledge whilst keeping myself active in a job. One of which
being a sales company that gave me a good insight into sales.
July 2014 – September 2014, Co-op Food - Retail Assistant
While on work experience at the CO-OP I would help customer find products they were looking
for, take stock deliveries, sorting merchandise into an orderly fashion also I would deal and aim
to solve customer inquiries by myself or forwarding them to my higher ups. I always really
enjoyed any customer interaction.
June 2014 - July 2014, Ashgate Hospice - Retail Assistant
At Ashgate Hospice I worked as a part of the sorting staff in the warehouse that helped process
through customer donations and deliveries, sorting the useable from the unusable items. I would
also work on the front desk that accepts donations; I would greet customers, keep the store
clean and tidy, receive stock and answer inquiries from customers. I also managed to get the
highest amount of Gift Aid donations in any store within the weeks I were there. This made me
feel accomplished and proud.
May 2014 – June 2014, Ability Mencap Centre - Care Worker
Whilst I worked at Mencap, I would help provide help with food management in a fast
environment to serve, tea, coffee and dinner orders to the people of the centre. I would also
provide practical and emotional support about personal relationships of the users there, learning
about their families and children which was an amazing experience.
January 2014 – March 2014, Original Factory Shop - Retail Assistant

2. I would help in the day-to-day running of the shop by keeping back stock, displays and store
fronts both clean and accessible; I would also help with changing displays, signage and other
tings around the shop. Another thing I would do is help unload, unpack and place out deliveries
as were required at the time. Store checks and ensuring that all fire escapes, escape routes are
from obstruction for health and safety purposes.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
2011 – 2013 Chesterfield College
This course involved digital and traditional art style training that gave me a degree at the
end, involved in this was many projects to do with advertising, art styles, design styles
and the use of computer programmes such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft
programmes.

Prince’s trust art award (Bronze)
I participated in the bronze art award, this involved me working with a large group that
got split into groups of our choice and working with a professional art designer worked
to created a digital art piece using lights, digital and traditional art styles.

I achieved a pass in this award to get a license for security work; we went through
protocol, different areas of work, a security manual involving revision and a test.
Hospitality and Catering course.
Another course that I participated in, that gave information on work environments
involving food, health and safety and food preparation.
