I joined MWF as a picker/packer, we had 12,000 different products and deliver to a
different array of customers, covering all areas of the South/South East and Europe.
Having learnt all areas of the warehouse, i have also been given the opportunity to

the south of England, covering multi-drop deliveries as well as long distance

3. I was employed by Zenith Hygiene Systems as a night-shift warehouse operative;
whilst I was there I had a varied amount of tasks and duties which included:
· Bulk picking and loading the customers orders
· Handball loading
· Replenish Stock
· Give the warehouse a general tidy-up
On an average night there was anything up to 17 loads to pick, which weighed
anything from 900kgs to 3 ton, once all the picking was completed we then loaded
all the Lorries by hand. After 18 months of working at Zenith Hygiene Systems as a
warehouse operative the position of Warehouse Manager became available, I applied
for this position and with great success I was appointed Nightshift Manager.
Due to the nature of the role, my work load and responsibilities increased this
included:
· Liaise with the depot manager
· Handle all general enquires with Drivers and Reps
· Complete all Health and Safety checks
· Staff meetings and briefing staff on their nightly roles
· Co-ordinating with the logistics department
· Ensuring all loads were safely loaded and correct
· Complete nightly reports
Even though being promoted as manager, with all the new roles I had to undertake I
still put in the same amount of effort to help my team.
