Front cover photos with no backgrounds using Photoshop
1. My images for the front cover don’t have
backgrounds, this is because I found it to be
very stereotypical in my research. To achieve
this myself I took my photos against plain walls
so that I could use Photoshop to delete the
background.
I used a digital camera to take my
photos, digital cameras are very beneficial to
use as they are very small and easy to use.
This allowed me to capture my photos very
easily. Also the pictures could be put straight
onto my computer so I could use them
quickly.
I used publisher to make my front cover, contents page and double page
spread. This is because it is a very good programme to use when making
something like a magazine. This is because it allowed me to add multiple
images, fonts and shapes, as well as a range of colours and some editing
software. For example when I used some fonts from the internet, I was
able to change the colour of these fonts very simply within publisher. Also
the crop tool came in very handy as it allowed me to crop down print
screens of fonts.
