2. To produce my magazine
front cover, contents page
and double page spread, as
well as my billboard poster
and radio advert, I will be
using a variety of equipment
and software.

3. For my photography I will be using a Nikon
D3200 DSLR. It is a compact camera with a
24.2 MP DX-format CMOS sensor that excels in
any light, EXPEED 3 image-processing for fast
operation and creative in-camera effects. As
well as this, it has a full HD movie recording
setting and captures stunning photos and
videos. This camera has many settings and
due to its complexity I will able to create the
silhouetted effect up at Old John with my
model.

4. To compliment the camera for
the indoor images, I will be using
a tripod to keep the camera
steady and light reflector to get
the correct light on my models.
This means I should get the
correct lighting so when it
comes to editing the images, I
will not need to do too much to
them.

5. I will be using InDesign to produce the
double page spread of my magazine.
InDesign is a very professional software that
is used by many people within the world of
work as it is ideal for creating articles with a
lot of writing and allows you to layer over
the top. It is a lot easier to create columns
on InDesign than on Photoshop, however I
am not that confident on this software so I
need to watch some tutorials and learn the
basics. I am able to create my double page
spread anytime due to having this software
on my MacBook.

6. I will be using Photoshop to create the
front cover and contents page for my
magazine and also the billboard poster. I
will also be using it to edit my images and
the masthead for my magazine due to the
array of techniques that the software
offers. As well as InDesign, I am not that
confident with this software so I need to
learn how to use it in the planning stage
of this coursework so when it comes to
the production stage, I will have full
understanding of the software. I am able
to use Photoshop anytime due to having
it installed on my MacBook.

7. I will use Garageband to edit my radio
advert together to make it sound as
professional and sophisticated as
possible to target the correct audience.
Due to having a MacBook, I am able to
use this software as it is comes with it,
which means I can also edit the radio
advert anytime I want. I do not have much
experience with Garageband so before I
create my final radio advert, I am going to
spend some time producing songs so I
get used to it before the production stage
of this coursework.

8. As well as all of these, I will be using:
• PremierePro X & iMovie to edit together
any videos I have created in the research
and planning stages of this coursework
• PowerPoint, Powtoon, Emaze and Prezi to
present my research, planning and
evaluation of this coursework
