CAREER SUMMARY:
I have over thirty-five years of experience mainly in Supervisory position in operations/start-ups.
Was a Superintendent at Amerada Hess in the US Virgin Islands Refinery over Utility and Process
Units for 7 years, crude oil throughput 500.000b/d and 600psig steam demand of 2,400.000lbs/hr.
Was part of a seven-year nonstop construction, commissioning, startup and operations project. My
experience includes operations, start-ups, commissioning, reviewing/writing procedures, operator
training, and refinery turn-around revamp work.
After the first graduation from the Shell Technical College, worked as a Plant Mechanic repairing
Pumps, Compressors, Steam Turbines, Gas Engines etc., also did Pipe Fitter’s work as required.
Worked as a Plant Mechanic for about 3 years at Shell Technical College. Became Utility and
Process Operator, after the second graduation from the Shell Technical College. I have received
Training for operation of Utility and Process Units Supervisor/Management at the Technical College.
I have studied Mechanical Engineering. Through most of my career, I participated in turnaround and
startup work as Operator/Chief Operator and Supervisor/Superintendent utilizing my Mechanical
Engineering training. I am interested in a suitable position according to my background and
experience as indicated in this summary.

Technical Writer/Procedure developer, producing Commissioning/Startup procedures
for IHI International Corporation, Houston Texas, for the Dominion Cove Point LNG
Liquefaction Plant Project in Lusby, Maryland.
Assigned to assist in the development of and to produce commissioning, startup/operations
procedures for the utilities and process systems and units, for a new LNG Liquefaction Facility.
Also assigned as a consultant for the startup and operations of the LNG plant during the
contract obligation period of 6 months turning over the plant to the client.
Project Consultant-In charge of Commissioning and Startup of a Pilot Bio Fuel Plant, IHI
International Corporation, Daphne Alabama. Negotiated the contract for this assignment
myself.
Assigned by Project Director in charge in charge and I was placed in charge of commissioning,
startup, operations and test run of a Pilot Bio Fuel Plant (A New Process utilizing high
pressures and temperatures) Performed commissioning and startup work as required.
Consulted/trained a group of new engineers without experience assigned to the project as
operators, and other functions, etc. Finishing my assignment and the performance test run of
the plant to complete satisfaction of the client.

Assigned to a Crude oil and Gas production off Shore Platform for the Hebron Project in
Canada. Performed preparation work in Houston for the Startup of the Platform. Worked on
commissioning Procedures and Method statements for the project. Did the necessary office

client. Special Units were A Cryogenic Unit producing Liquefied Nitrogen with a vaporized N2
Distribution System. Also a Chilled Cooling Water Unit due to extreme hot weather conditions.
