2. Accomplishments and Experience
Born, raised, and employed in the oilfield all my life.
Moved to numerous assignments, with the company holding the operator’s contract in order to
gain the challenge and experience of working the latest technology, i.e.; the first floating
Sim-Ops in the Gulf, (Cooper); the POGO filtration and WF platforms Start-Up, the start-up
of the BP Pompano and its 5 year scheduled maintenance.
The 3-year operation and 5-year scheduled shut-in, worker-over wells and repair sub-sea
chemical leaks in 2200’ of water for the longest sub-sea tie-back in the world at the time, the
“Ladybug” development.
The start-up of the largest, deepest and most advanced floating facility at that time, the BP/Shell
NaKika.
The startup of the TLP Gomez. (Modular converted from the Rowan # 1)

April ‘06 to Oct., ’07 assigned as Lead Sub-sea Operator to the Ladybug project at GB
409 for ATP Oil & Gas. At the time, the longest sub-sea tie-back in the world. I was
responsible for the safe daily operations of a multi-million dollar hi-tech project.
Duties included the supervision of proper permit-to-work procedures, work plans, job
safety analysis, cost analysis and comparison, utilizing Wonderware PLC and Kvaerner
sub-sea D.C.S. Also, to operate and maintain producing facilities in accordance with
approved practices, plans, programs, forecasts, contracts, and Government regulations. I
would routinely inspect facilities and equipment for inefficient operation or unsafe
conditions and recommend corrective actions as necessary. To provide effective On the
Job training and Supervision for new hires. Inspect work to insure high standards of
workmanship and conformance with accepted practices and safety standards. Responsible
for performing, supervising, and mentoring Production gauging and metering. Oil, gas,
and water flow rate calculation. Placing new and/or re-completed wells on production.
