process safety.
Independently handled the Ammonia plant cold startups, many critical emergencies and change of
Catalyst activities for different Reactors.
PROCESS ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE:
Worked in Process engineering department for more than 17 years performing jobs related to process
engineering and projects implementation.
Fully conversant with all the process department activities and worked on jobs related to Ammonia
plants, Urea Plants and Utility plants having facilities to produce power, steam, DM Water, Nitrogen,
Instrument Air, Plant Air, cooling water to the process plants.
Apart from doing the regular process engineering jobs, independently proposed nine useful energy
saving innovative schemes, all of which had a pay back period of less than a year.
After in principle approval of these schemes by management, the complete detailing of the schemes
involving, sizing of piping, control valves sizing, pressure drop estimation and integration with the
existing plant systems, and other related jobs were done independently.
Six schemes were implemented during my tenure in KRIBHCO and proved to be successful while passing
