This document summarizes a study on education and empowerment among tribal women in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It finds that tribal women's literacy and education rates are much lower than tribal men's rates. The study aims to understand tribal women's awareness of educational and women's rights and attitudes toward education and empowerment. It uses a normative survey method with random sampling to collect data from the islands and analyze variables affecting tribal women. The findings could help eliminate exploitation of tribal women and help local governments develop effective educational and welfare policies and schemes.
