The Hypothesis
• There is a strong correlation between motivation level and
creation, sharing including realizing business knowledge
• Motivation needs vary as per personality types
• Personality types relevant in an organizational setup are

– Diplomatic Player
– Party Player
• These personality types can be assessed by giving a self
administered on-line questionnaire or observing individual
moves during a behavioral game
• Reward system to address following input attributes

– Organizational expectations with respect to KM activities

• Person undergoing the self assessment has to select
appropriate word out of each group which describes
him most of the time
• There are 40 groups consisting of 4 words each.
Hence each person would describe himself as a
collection of 40 words.
• The choice of 40 words would determine his or her
dominant personality type.
