Anti Fraudulent Claims Recovery System (AFRS) is the process detecting of fraudulent
claims filed by the physicians. Detection is primarily based on the clinical criterion using CPT
codes and ICD codes.
• Involved in gathering specifications from the client and designing of the process.
• Working in close association with the Clinical coding team and statistics team.
• Technical support as an application developer supporting primarily SAS and UNIX
shell script applications.
• Development of SAS code to extract the data from oracle, DB2 etc. and create
datasets, format the data, create reports and presenting the necessary information
in varied file formats.
