• The goal of this NYC government project was create a website where based upon the business rules in
the Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) of the NYC Police, Sanitation, and Firefighters parties could
“log in” and document time and attendance (Kronos).
• First we used the CBA to glean the pay rule requirements.
• Then using Visio to capture the “as is” process flow, indicated by the pay rules, we gained consensus in
JAD sessions.
• Then we broke out the requirements into Use cases, and activity diagrams, which were used for further
development and later for Testing.
• Worked with testing team in JIRA to complete testing.
• Responsible for leading CBA team of 3 Business Analyst, review and validating requirements.

It is administered by the Georgia Department of Community health (DCH) and pays medical bills with State and Federal tax money. GORDON RESUME • The goal of the project was to assist in the establishment of enterprise-wide web-based eCommerce SOA platform “concept to market” that supported and promoted the Best Practices for health care processing as required by HIPPA. • Assigned to capture the “as is” process flows for Search for Member, Appeals, and Create Contact process flows. • To insure that the IVR (Integrated Voice Response) system was updated to match the online processes. • Convened JAD sessions with IT staff, and BCBS SMEs, Relay Health (HIE) to gain sign off. • All documentation was created with RequisitePro and stored in Clear Case. • Microsoft Visio was used for process flows diagrams. • The outcome of the project was that all business flow process diagrams and documentation was incorporated on client website and IVR systems. 08/04 – 11/04 MEDCO PHARMACEUTICAL, Franklin Lakes, NJ Senior Business Analyst Sales and Marketing Programs • The goal of this eCommerce “Quote to Cash” project was to develop an enterprise-wide web-based sales and marketing program that would allow the sales reps the ability to login into the system “off-site” and place pharma orders, update, create reports, review sales targets, enter requests, establish new territories and communicate with other sales representatives and home office. • Service Oriented • Provided the ability to set merchant orders for pharmaceutical products. • Knowledge and exposure to Teradata and data warehousing. • Created notification mechanism for mobile messaging. • Used RequisitePro to store and manage requirement documents, create traceability, extract reports by attributes. • Used Mercury tools for testing. • Worked with Medicare Analyst to integrate Part B into system. 04/04 – 08/04 CITIGROUP, Jacksonville, FL, NYC, NY Business Analyst/Project Manager • This project assignment was a temporary position to replace an employee that was out on leave. • Responsibilities in the eCommerce SOA, Wealth Management, Merchant Acquiring Credit Products project were to manage and work with IT Staff to capture project business requirements. • Liaison to Merchant Advisory Board, met to collect requirements. • Completed requirements for pre-paid, standard, gold credit card products. • Produce status project reports and present in JAD session to client and managerial staff with updates. 05/03 – 11/03 BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF SOUTH FLORIDA Senior RUP Business Analyst/Mentor • The goal of this “web services” project was to create a web-based ERP model for implementing RUP enterprise wide. • Using the Rational Suite of tools to demonstrate how the SDLC process was managed and implemented. • Used RequisitePro to store and manage requirement documents, create traceability, extract reports by attributes. • As a Team Lead (4) my assignment was the Duplicate Claims project. • Worked with QMS (Quality Management System) Team to analyze data • Worked with the Claims staff to document the “as is” claims process and make recommendations for the “future” process which included the new HiPAA guidelines and HL7. • Led requirements gathering JAD session with Florida Health Insurance Exchange (FHIE) • Used the inception, elaboration, construction and transition (UML) methodology to uncover and document where in the system the duplication occurred. 8

Lauderdale, FL Senior Systems Analyst/Business Analyst • Two Phase Project: Goal of the 1st phase of project was to meet the requirements set forth by the FDA governing the Blood Bank Industry. • Captured the “as-is” business process as it pertained to the collection and storage of blood products through use case and functional requirements. • Used RUP/UML methodology • Worked with Technical Staff to determine changes in the current infrastructure and systems. • Documented all business and technical requirements (system, infrastructure). • Worked with DBA to develop Data warehouse plan and data analytics. • Presented business, system and infrastructure requirements to client, Board of Directors and technical staff in JAD session. • Traveled to D.C. to meet with Federal team overseeing project, to insure goals were met. • Developed new processes to meet FDA regulations which included, updates to system and infrastructure. • Participated in Quality Assurance testing. • The goal of the 2nd phase of “concept to market”, project was to create a mechanism using PDA and mobile communications to receive real-time blood products availability and test results. 12/00 – 05/01 BELLSOUTH, ACCENTURE, Atlanta, GA Senior Business Analyst/Release Manager • The goal of this project was to migrate to an Oracle environment. • As a Release Manager, created project (Microsoft) schedule of system updates. GORDON RESUME 10/00 – 12/00 INTERVAL INTERNATIONAL, Kendall, FL Senior Business Analyst • The goal of this “quote to cash” project was to create an eCommerce platform (web site) for the owners that enabled them to search, deposit, update, and manage their timeshares. • Interval International is a company that arranges vacation packages for timeshare owners. • Provided owners to deposit and exchange weeks at other resorts. 03/00 – 10/00 EPIPELINE, Atlanta, GA Senior Business Analyst • An eCommerce “concept to market” project called ePipeline.com. Affiliated with WebMD development resources. • The website would provide users with an online service to help businesses: identify, qualify and win more government contracts. • This project was to create, develop and implement website ePipeline.com. • Part of Executive team, which was charged with writing RFP and generating new business. • Worked closely with DBA to develop Data Mapping document and data warehouse activities. • Gathered requirements for Website page definition using Visio. • Completed the entire SDLC utilizing RUP methodology. 12/99 – 03/00 HOMECOM, INC., Atlanta, GA/Summit Bank, NJ Senior Business Analyst • The goal of this eCommerce “quote to cash” project was to integrate Fortune 500 business partners: Allstate, Morgan Stanley, and Dean Witter into the Summit Bank enterprise website. • Worked with the wealth management team of the “partners”, to ensure that their diversified funding plans were captured in web-site infrastructure map equally, • Worked with Enterprise-wide teams for integration and resource planning. • Documented sales process flows diagrams to depict “as-is” and future partner web presence. • Created storyboard process flow diagrams and swim lane diagrams working with partners to insuring that the process flow. • Facilitated User group sessions at partner sites to develop “business intelligence” flow. 09/99 – 12/99 MODCOMP, INC., Ft.
