Large Corporate Markets (LCM) currently has eight life insurance administration systems. LCM
uses five versions of the FDP CLAS system, one old version of the Andesa system, a stand-alone
Access Database system and the Vantage-One product engine to administer life insurance
policies. Since none of the current systems can adequately support the LCM business now or
from a strategic view, LCM initiated a search for a new administration platform in 2003 and chose
the new version of Andesa as its future platform. The main objective of Platform Replacement
Project is to convert all business from the eight current systems to one single supporting System
in multiple phases.
Responsibilities:
• Directs business area involvement in Management project developments including
business requirement definition, business process design, and user testing and
implementation

CALC Agent Compensation System:
CALC is a client server application that currently supports Licensing and Appointing for agents
that sell Travelers products under various distribution channels. It also supports non-ticket Life
compensation for the Smith Barney distribution channel. The Calc II initiative will be expanding
the Calc system to support compensation processing for all distribution channels as currently
provided by ACS.

Aetna US HealthCare’s Total Utilization Management System (TUMS) is used to log and review

Predicted Utilization by Statistical Evaluation (PULSE) - Claims Systems:
Early identification of high-risk patients enables Aetna U.S. Healthcare to provide targeted
interventions that are designed to more proactively manage patients’ health outcomes and
utilization of health care
Resources. This is a Medicare application system that involves in the processing of all the
claims which are input to this system. After the claims get processed it is sent to CWF that
process the requests. Once all the claims get selected the files are sent back to Aetna data
warehousing system for further analysis and the generation of the reports

business requirements documents that will include overall business justification, cost
estimates, time-lines, resource requirements ,project scope & lead a team of Subject
