Masila Petroleum Exploration and Production Company
Report to: Nasser Mudaiheg (HR Manager)
Basic Function:
Manage and Coordinate the human resources work force planning function for PetroMasila. This
position works with Units Directors, line and support managers to identify short and long term
regular National & Expat staffing requirements to streamline PetroMasila’s strategic business
plan. The information is then documented in an annual Work Force Plan and submitted for
government approval. The plan is also used as an ongoing reference tool as well as a base for
budgeting & reporting purposes. Regular updates are formally provided to key stakeholders
throughout the year.

Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Skills Ladder, IDP, ADP, Training
Scheduler projects, AbraTrain database & other systems so that they meet the current and future
needs of all Nexen users. Provides users with advice and training to obtain maximum
functionality from the Systems. Co-ordinates the processes, databases and Systems that are
required to track/support (In & out of country training) Training and Yemenization activities and
strategies.

meet the current and future needs of all Nexen users. Provides users with advice and training to
obtain maximum functionality from the system. Incorporates all training related systems and
programs into IDP and ensures alignment, continuously looks for ways to improve the
functionality of the tool & database.
