6. PARTICIPATION IN LECTURES AND
TUTORIALS
YOUR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN BOTH LECTURES AND TUTORIALS IS AN
ESSENTIAL PART OFYOUR LEARNING EXPERIENCE!
• Refer to the Learning Guide and the Attendance / Participation Letter on vUWS.
• Important updates and information will be posted on vUWS.
• Check vUWS and your student email account regularly throughout the entire
semester!
• A full overview of the unit and introduction to the syllabus will be covered in the
first lecture.
• Note:We begin lectures and tutorials in Semester Week 1.
7. TUTORIAL PREPARATION
• Attendance will be taken.
• Appropriate clothes, runners, and bottle of water are essential (hat + sunscreen).
• A whistle for tutorials.
• Arrive on time and ready to participate.
• Special Considerations and Students with AIPs please contact me if you would like to
discuss any concerns.
• It’s your responsibility to know the schedule and location of tutorials.
• Check the Unit Calendar.
• Check vUWS / email for weather updates.
• Bring a Notebook.
8. WEEK ONE: REMINDERS
• LecturesThursdays 9-11am
• Tutorials on Wednesday andThursdays
• Check the schedule and your timetable!
• Bring a copy of the PDHPE K-6 syllabus
• Read the Learning Guide
• Know your group (starting time & location).
• Groups run simultaneously with one group in the classroom and one group on the
courts or oval.
• Check vUWS or Allocate+ for your group!
• Wear appropriate attire for the practical PE section.
