6. Expectations of Uniform
• School Sweatshirt
• Grey/black skirt/shorts/trousers/pinafore dress
• White polo shirt/ cotton shirt
• Black shoes (no heels, no trainers)
• In summer – purple dresses /shorts ( black or
grey)
• No Jewellery except small studs or sleepers
All Uniform MUST be labelled!
7. PE Kit
• PE Kit – These should be brought in on a
Monday and kept in school until Friday. It
is essential for your child's wellbeing that
they are fully equipped to take part in PE.
The kit must be black shorts, white t-shirt,
white socks, black plimsolls
8. Attendance and Punctuality
• Importance of regular attendance ( & rewards –
class trophy/certificates)
• Importance of punctuality – Raffle tickets
• When attendance drops below 92% Ms O’Hara
becomes involved and you will be contacted by
letter.
• A home school agreement with targets will be
put in place if attendance continues to be poor
which can result in the EWO becoming involved.

• MFL is now statutory – years 1 - 6 will be
taught French by Mrs Stevens weekly.
10. Foundation Subjects
• IPC has been updated in line with the new curriculum.
• Topic based but discrete subjects.
• A rolling programme between years 3 and 4.
• Exit and Entry points.
• Other subjects will also be timetabled into the school
week, such as PE and RE.
• Any skills not covered will be taught at other times.
• Science knowledge will be revised throughout.
• KS2 pupils will receive a music lesson paid for by the
school where they will be taught either fife or clarinet by
a specialist music teacher.
