an album. They are typically between
3-6 songs and 15-30 minutes long. An
“extended play” is extended in the
sense that it is longer than a single.
This is an EP because it is only 6 songs
long, not a full 10-12 track album.

Traditionally, an LP is described as a
“full length album”. They were
typically between 10-12 songs and
30-45 minutes long. While

nitions for EPs and LPs tend to

uctuate, this was an album release
that was remastered, and it was
easy to tell that it is classi

ed as an
LP.

“Yes, but only if you’re a Colorado local, or your band is Colorado based. We don’t partner with
touring bands because of the logistics, it’s just too many factors to keep track of.”

“Never. They used to visit all the time back in the day, but they haven’t come in years. We used to
get reps at least once a week to give us promo pieces, posters, ext, but I’ve been working here
over 5 years and I’ve never seen one.”

been announced as
April 29, 2023.

ection
I would definitely use Twist & Shout to release a
local indie artist’s album! They’ve are one of the
most popular indie record stores in the state,
and have hosted many different events and
album releases over the years. I would most
likely host an in-store event, as well as
consigning the album to drive traffic as well as
sales.
