2. Extended Play Album (EP)
The Album “Dance Craze” is a compilation
album released in 1954. It is considered an
Extended Play Album (EP) because It only
contains 4 songs.
“In order for a release to be considered an EP, it
must meet one of the following two
requirements:
• The release has a total of 1-3 tracks, one or
more of the tracks is 10 minutes or longer,
and the entire release is less than 30 minutes
• The release has a total of 4-6 tracks and the
entire release is less than 30 minutes
(Tunecore, 2024)

4. Research Question
Keith Glass
(Owner of Mobile Records)
Q: Do you offer consignment to indie artists?

He stated they did have a local band play at Mobile records a few
months ago which had a turnout of over 200 people (The store is small
and full of records so 200 people left no room in the building).*
6. Exclusives
Unfortunately, Mobile Records didn’t have any records exclusively
released for Record Store Day. They did, however, bring out a stock
of rare records they have at the store to sell on Record Store Day.
7. SWAG
Mobile Records didn’t have much SWAG
available when I visited. I was told they
were holding on give aways for Record
Store Day. But, they did have some cards
and some cool artists stickers by the
register to give away.
8. Promos
Not much of a promo item, but this poster
was recently hung above the new
collection of Hendrix vinyl that was on
display.
9. Reflections
