- Why is this an EP ? Even though an
EP has from 2-6 songs and this has
7, it still counts as an EP because
it lasts around 30 minutes.
- An EP is longer than a single but
shorter than an Album and this is
what it is.

3. The Long Album
• The Beatles Party
• It is an Album because it is longer than
30 minutes and it is a long album because
it has more than 15 songs

4. Clerk at the Indie store
• Name : Leo
• Nationality : Brazil
• My questions : Do you accept albums to sale or trading ?
• Can we make a deal to put my music on your store ?
• Answers : He does accept trading, and he is very supportive to indie artists, he
has put posters before and helped other artists as well. He gave me his card and
told me that he would love to put my vinyl's in his store.

5. Events
• There are no current events
going on, however he told me
that he usually does live
shows of starting artists to
support them. They are
mostly at night around 7PM
but he doesn’t have any
events going on currently.
• He was a very good guy, and
he was really helpful and I
could see that he really
likes helping artists.

6. Exclusive
He does not participate in Record Store Day
because most of his albums are opened and used
and they are not new.
He mentioned that he doesn’t like
Record Store day as well because he
feels is a scam how some records have
crazy prices, and he doesn’t like
selling overprice records to people.

7. SWAG
$2 Records

$1-$3 stickers
He didn’t have
anything free, and he
didn’t know what Swag
was, however he had a
huge row of $2 records

8. Promos
• They did have 2 promos, unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of them.
• One of them was a sealed Michael Jackson Record for $25
• The other one had posters everywhere because it was a dead artist, but I forgot
the name

9. Reflection
• Would you use this store for a local indie artist’s album release? If so, what would you do? For instance, would you have an
in-store event, consign their album, leave samplers, etc?
• I would use this store for a local indie artist album release because after talking to the clerk, I realized it is so attainable, and
not all record stores would allow it so easily.
• If I did an event there, I would have an in store album or single release. The environment would be so cool and artistically
aesthetic. It would help the store and myself. It would be a great combination of elements. My modern music in an older
music store. I would also have vinyl's of my album to sell them there.
• I also bought two $5 records myself
