This is a slideshow of a record store scavenger hunt that I did for a class while attending Full Sail University.

This is Coldplay’s “Kaliedoscope” EP.
Lavoie (2022) says “Extended-play albums, or EPs, are
shorter than an LP album but longer than a two-sided
single—they’ll typically feature 4-5 tracks with a
playtime of 25 to 30 minutes”, (para. 24)
.
This EP has more than 4 tracks on it. However, the
total time is less than 30 minutes. Making it an EP.

4. LP
This is John Coltrane’s “Blue Train” album or LP
.
This was an interesting pick for an album
because it only has 5 songs.
However the the total time length of this album
is longer than 30 minutes, making this an album
or LP.

?
Yes they do

b. How often do marketing reps visit from the
record labels
?
Hardly any visit at all. Main St. Jukebox hasn’t
had a visit in many years.

6. Events
The next main event happening at this store is Record Store Day, which they didn’t
have any promo pieces for just yet.

7. Exclusives
This is a great Jazz vinyl compilation project that was released
exclusively on Record Store Day.
This is titled “Jazz Dispensary, HAUNTED HOUSE”.

8. Swag
This is a sticker with the stores logo on it. They give this
away with purchases while supplies last
.

9. Promos
This is a promo bin. These are
special records that were
handpicked by staff members and
are strategically placed at the front
of the store. All customers must
walk pass it.

ection
This store is a lot of fun. Interesting for people who aren’t into records
and tapes. There are old books, and collectibles all over the store. They
have such an array of fun stuff. My artist could come here to do in-
stores, and even album listening/release parties with a performance
over a track. This is also the perfect place for small workshops and
seminars on the culture of Hip-Hop and Rap Music.
