To become a PMI certified PMP you must fulfill three eligibility requirements:
35 contact hours
1. You must have either a degree or a diploma holder.
2. You must have certain hours of work experience in managing the project.
3. You have to attend a training program for 35 contact hours for formal project-
management education.
You cannot apply for the PMP certification exam if you not satisfy all these three
eligibility requirements.
First two eligibility requirement you fill by your education and experience. But third
requirement is PMI specific which you must earn if you decide to sit for the PMP exam.
You can attend Classroom Traning or Online Training. In my experience you should
chose a Online Training, it comfortable time and less cost. One of Online courses
is PMP Online Basic Course or PMP Online Standard Course I have verified, it is R.E.P
of PMI, many candidates have choose it and passed PMP.
