I have been associated with the Garment and Textile
Industry since 1989. With over 27 years of experience in
the industry, I have fine tuned myself with experience of
working in the primarily in brand management and
product penetration, quality and assurance and systems.
I have consistently demonstrated capabilities in Brand
Management, Sales and Marketing, Merchandising,
proven ability in building high performance teams within
that influences revenue and market share of the company
I am associated with. Holding strong foothold in growing
brands and nurturing new product launches, I have a
proven track record of formulating unique strategies,
brand communication, creative campaigns (some of them
probably first time in the segment) in an over crowded
brand generic markets where building and managing high
performing marketing and sales teams is pivotal. Firm
believer of differentiated strategies, activities and
communication to build brands.

• Presently working as a Consultant.
• In the period between April 2015 and July 2015 worked with
a large textile show room in Thirupur, as an Administrative
Manager. Managing day to day operations of the shop which
includes administration, customer care, product selection and
management for regular sales.
• In the period between July 2014 and Jan 2015, I worked
closely with Village Industries PLC Ethiopia as Consultant for
Technical Guidance for Cutting & Sewing, where Systems and
Procedures were developed and implemented to ensure a
systematic production process. Quality standards were set in
place to ensue the brand name retained a reputation. I also
spearheaded, training and development as and when needed.
• I was associated with Texcoms Textile solutions for 3 months,
April ‘2014 to June’2014 as Consultant, resolving their costing
issues. I was actively involved in setting up a Process based
Standard Costing methodology and Actual Costing system, and
Cost Control Techniques by Variance Analysis. Post analysis,
and implementation of systems,
I facilitated a training module to sustain the costing changes for
all the products manufactured at Bahirdar Textiles Share
Company, Ethiopia.
• During Jan'2011 to Mar’2014, my tenure with Belmonte -
Uniform Division, Mumbai, for Kerala and Tamil Nadu as
Marketing Facilitator I was tasked with setting up a
streamlined marketing process for the Uniform fabrics. I was
instrumental in roping in whole sellers, dealers and
institutional buyers in Kerala and Tamil Nadu excluding the
Chennai market. A consistent flow of orders from targeted
customers was achieved over the budgeted volume of
business, with a considerable spike in key account retentions.
• Hrethik Textiles in the year 2007 operated as a Managing
Partner concern was in existence till 2010 in Coimbatore. I
spearheaded the operations as the founder concentrating in
manufacturing of readymade garments: shirts, trousers,
uniforms and bed sheets. Product development, sourcing of
fabrics and accessories, production and quality control, team
management, Sales of grey, processed fabrics and Garments in
Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
• Dec' 1999 to July'2007 I was associated with Premier SPG &
WVG Mills, Coimbatore as Sales Manager. I played a vital part
in Market Identification and Development, Customers Profiling,
Selection & Evaluation, focus on products to maximize profits.
Develop new products for the market - based on forecasted
trends. Identification of new product opportunities. Convert
into bulk orders in grey, processed fabrics - yarn dyed,
bleached, piece dyed and printed fabrics.
• June'1996 to Dec'1999: Indira Exports, Indore (M.P) as Senior Merchandiser
• Executing Fabric woven & knitted orders
• Supplier and Vendor Coordination in South India - Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Karur,
Tiruppur and Bangalore.
• Sept' 1994 to June' 1996: Triburg Sportswear, New Delhi as Merchandiser
• Develop Samples
• Procure Monitor Production and Quality Controlling of bulk orders of hand loom, power
loom, and auto loom fabrics. Handle suppliers, garment manufactures and buyers.
• June' 1992 to Sept' 1994: Gokaldas Exports, Bangalore as Fabric Coordinator
• Development of Hand loom, power loom, mill made yarn dyed, printed, bleached and dyed
fabrics. Cost estimation, production planning and control of cotton, Polyester, viscose and
blends in Bleached, Dyed, Printed and yarn dyed fabrics of Hand loom, power loom and mill
made.
• Jan' 1991 to June' 1992: Raiment & Garments International, Chennai as Production Supervisor
• Production follows up of fabrics and supervising in house production of fabrics and garments.
• Sept'1989 to Jan' 1991: Sangeeth International, Chennai. as Quality Controller
Inspection of hand loom and power loom fabrics at the factory for Exports
