My Family Vacation To The Beach
The time has finally come to embark on your family vacation to the beach, and it could not come any sooner. You've longed to feel the ocean breeze
on your face and the sand between your toes for weeks now, and frankly, this vacation has been your motivating force throughout this past semester.
The unendurable pain of term papers and lectures has barely impacted you, as you have spent basically the entirety of every class daydreaming about
your ever–approaching trip. The warmth of the sun, the splashing of the waves, the bustle of the marina, the smell of the air – all of these features of
the trip seem irresistible. However, it is imperative that you make sure to keep your head on straight. All of these pastimes look fun in the moment, but
if you do not keep up with the most important task of the trip, you could suffer some consequences in the end. This task easily could make or break the
whole vacation: putting on sunscreen. You don't want to return home covered in blisters, bumps, and boiling pain, so do the right thing. Putting on
sunscreen is a good deed, so you better slather on the good stuff now, or you'll get burned later. Despite the excitement of indulging in a week full of
seashells and coconuts, a lot of ways to potentially muddy the crystal clear waters of your caribbean getaway come to the surface. Did everyone
remember their swim trunks and flip flops, and did the plants get watered and the cats fed? What if someone gets injured, or what if it rains all week?

What Is My Best Vacation Essay
The best trip I have ever went on was when I went on my family vacation to Orlando, Florida. We went as a huge family, as in my dad's side of the
family, I went with my grandma my grandpa my aunt and uncle my two cousins my mom and my dad and my two sisters and a brother, only to
meet up with more family. We had went in the middle of June and were going for a week, we took a plane there and back and stayed at a hotel for a
day or two. My family and I went up to Orlando for a couple days and then we drove to Miami, Florida to see my cousins because they used to live up
in Miami. When my family and I first arrived we went to our hotel and got all situated, it was dark out and we were hungry so we decided to go to
one of the most popular restaurants,...show more content...
By this time the cousins we were waiting all day to see were sleeping and my aunt came down and got us all set up and ready for the next week in
Miami.
The next morning we were sleeping in because we were so terribly tired, but our cousins woke us up. And we havn't seen them in four years since
that trip and there my best friends. We spent our first day swimming and getting used to each other, for the rest of the days we were signed up for
beach camp with our cousins, that's where you would surf and swim and tube and see new animals and learn spanish and meet new friends. And
then after that we would swim more and fish and take pictures. My favorite part of the trip was going to my first NBA game. It was the highlight
because I got to meet the teammates from Miami Heat and we were part of the family room so we got to eat fancy food and play basketball and
just have fun. The funniest part of that night was I was walking by the court and they were announcing the player and I was standing on this circle
and all of a sudden flame is shooting out behind and I look down and I was like 'oh, shoot' and jumped off of it before it went up in flames, It was very
scary. That was the best trip I went on, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I

My Favorite Family Vacation Spot
As soon as I got of the plane and breathed in that City air I new my life would change for the better. I was waiting for this day for the past several
months. It was the first time I would go with my father and brothers on their "Boys Only Vacation". I was thrilled at the fact that they would finally let
me tag along with them. This year they decided to go to Washington D.C. I had never been to D.C before, and what made it even better was the fact
that around the time we would arrive it would be snowing. It was my first time ever seeing snow with my naked eye. So when the time came we
headed out to Tampa International Airport. We checked our bags, went threw security and waiting in line before entering the aircraft. It was about
a 2 hour flight before we arrived in the place that now has my heart till the day I die. As soon as we stepped out the Airport my eyes were widened
by the site of seeing snow for the first time. The snow felt as if it was made out of a snow cone machine. The sound of my feet stomping in the
snow like stepping on packing peanuts is the sound that I will listen to for hours. After about a quarter of a mile walk we got to the subway station
where for the first time I experienced how busy big cities can be. We got our cards and headed downstairs to where the subway trains were. The
sound of a jazz musician playing Duke Ellington's "Rhapsody in Blue" made me want to give the man all the money in my pocket but sadly I
couldn't. There was also the smell of chili cheese dogs that the people next to us were trying to scarf down before the train arrived. Finally it
arrived and this was my first time on a subway car. The feeling of my butt on the rough "cushioned" chairs wasn't the best feeling in the world. The
sight on many people from Jamaican to Irish was one that I haven't seen in such a small compacted space. I could also see the sight of Jefferson
Memorial and the Potomac River as we passed them was breathtaking. We passed a few other sights such as the Washington Monument, The Lincoln
Memorial and the WW2 Memorial. As we walked off the train we could hear the conductor giving everyone safety instructions and telling them to step
away from the doors.

Essay On My Vacation
Everyone has gone on some form of vacation in their lives. I have gone on many vacations that have been very hectic, but the cruise that I went on
might have been the craziest. It all started with how we were getting to the port in South Carolina. We couldn't fit me, my younger brother, my younger
step–brother, my older step–brother, my older step–sister, my aunt, and my stepmom all into my stepmom's tiny BMW, so we had to rent a big van.
When we got to the car rental place, it turns out that the company had accidentally gave the van we rented to someone else. After my stepmom did a
little bit of yelling, we got an even bigger van for less than the other one. Next comes the 13 hour car ride. My 7–year–old step–brother, Max, wouldn't
sit still the whole ride and kept screaming at his I–Pad every time he lost his game. My 10–year–old brother, Ryan, was sitting right next to Max
screaming with him like he was still 7. My step–sister Emma and I were very annoyed and tired, so we both took about 3 melatonin gummies and
tried to fall asleep. That's when the car ride went bad. My brothers were being loud the...show more content...
The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The sand was as white as snow and there were no shells, trash, or anything on the beach other than chairs and
umbrellas. The water was crystal clear and even when you were in the ocean up to your neck you could still see the whole way down to your toes.
You could see fish swimming around your ankles and there were dolphins out in the distance. It truly was a perfect beach. Myfamily and I all swam
with manta rays and then Emma and i found our friends and played Bocce and volleyball on the beach. The only scary part of that day was when we
were getting off the ship. One of the crew thought it would be a good idea to jump off the ninth floor of the ship. He was a little banged up, but he

The air was filled with salt and warm sunlight. The waves were crashing against the Hawaiian sand causing a beautiful and relaxing sound. With
flapping wings and squawking noises, seagulls were stalking tourists in the search of food. The soft, hot sand was soothing to the touch. The palm
trees danced in the swaying wind and the aroma of distant barbecues and sunscreen wafted in the air. As a native Floridian, the thought of a Hawaiian
vacation was appealing. Hours of waiting began to accumulate when I was informed that my flight to Hawaii had been rescheduled. My frustration
built as I sat and anticipated the start to my vacation. After the airplane trip to the islands, I...show more content...
Crowds of people began to funnel in to this one location on the beach. I imagined that an animal had washed up on the shore and could not get back
into the water. My curiosity grew, and I left my chair to follow the path of everyone else down the shoreline.
Upon reaching the scene, I became aware of what happened. I stared down at a little girl who was lying face up and was unresponsive to family
members calling her name. It was evident that she had drowned and was on the edge of death. Life guards began to pound on her chest and start
chest compulsions. She continued to stay motionless. Quickly, lifeguards began the operations of CPR. These long and tiring procedures made the
lifeguards physically tired. The rest of the family bickered back and forth on whose fault this was. "Why couldn't you just watch her and do what you
were told?" I heard behind me. The father screamed, "It was not my responsibility to do that, it was yours!" The clear frustration began to build and
caused more confusion.
The lifeguards circling around the little girl seemed frightened. Leaning closer to hear the rumors being spread throughout the crowd, I unintentionally
noticed the disturbing sound of gargling from the little girl. She had regained consciousness, but could not breathe due to the water trapped in her
lungs. Policemen arrived on the beach and began to push back the imaginary boundaries surrounding the circle of lifeguards. The police advised
everyone to leave the beach

My Best Vacation
"The best vacation ever!" my cousin Vicky screamed from the bed next to me. I was just trying to fall sleep, but she kept talking most of the night
with her twin sister Emma. We all have the same age, and this is the first vacation we have without parents, aunts, and uncles around, telling us what to
do. We arrived to Los Angeles, California at 11:00 pm, checked into thehotel and tried to rest. The next day we planned to drive around the city and
wait for our friend Annette, who was coming from Texas. Annette was around twenty years old, but she had been traveling around the world with her
father since she was 13. I admire her, she is funny, has a good temper, and is really knowledgeable about traveling. We are going to fly together to
Mexico City first, and from there to Acapulco. We planned to go to "La Quebrada", it's a place in Acapulco where people do cliff diving. We had
done some research about it. The divers have to climb the cliff and do a freestyle jump into the water. We couldn't wait to be there, Annette was
going to be really happy too, she used to compete in platform diving when she was in high school. The hotel room phone rang pretty early the next
day. Our parents checking on us, making sure we were ok. Emma talked to her mother and assured her that everything was ok and that we will be
careful driving around. It was funny, I looked at her facial expressions meanwhile she is talking, and Emma rolls the eyes and nods a lot. Emma is
the opposite of his sister Vicky. Vicky talks a lot but she's a scary cat, on the other hand, Emma is quieter but really adventurous. "Liz, my uncle
wants you on the phone!" Emma announced. I picked up the phone and got myself ready for the lecture. My father was concerned that we were
going alone to Mexico. I promised that we were going to stay in Acapulco a couple of days and go back to California. "Don't do stupid things" my
father continued, "and, take care of each other." Annette arrived at midday, we were happy to see each other again. We decided to go the movies. We
say the premier of "Batman Returns", the line at the movie theater was extremely long, but we were so excited that the next day we will be flying to
Mexico that the

Most people that have gone to Orlando for holidays, ended with good memories. I'm not the exception. The resorts, the parks, and the restaurant make
Orlando the best place to enjoy for the whole family. My last holiday with my nephew in The Wall Disney World Resort was the best time of our life
for my family and me.
It was 20 February of 2015 when my brother my mother and I, arrived in Orlando International Airport. We rent a car in the airport and we went to
the Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Just arriving there was marvelous; watching all the pools the lakes and the rooms, we knew that we where in

It was Mexico three years ago. My dad's job was celebrating in Mexico and our family ( which is my brother, mom, and Maria) could come with
him. We went to this 5 star resort by the beach. IT WAS AMAZING! There were so many pools and the hotel room was so fancy! The aqua blue
ocean was so warm, that it felt like there was a heater in the water. We went swimming multiple times and I think i saw a whale jumping from the
water. Everywhere I looked, there was something new to see. Other than the fact that I got sunburned a lot, I thought that this was an awesome
vacation. We could even bring our nanny, Maria. We spent mornings eating breakfast from the giant bufe and afternoons were spent swimming or
finishing my rainbow loom bracelet. The evening was for eating yummy dinner and facetiming with my friends. I was exploding with joy. When
my dad had free time from work, we were browsing around and we saw a stand with a bunch of pamphlets. Dad and Mom said that we got to
choose one activity to do. We looked at caverns and zip lining but then I saw it. Dolphins! It said that you got to do tricks and get your picture
taken! I showed the flyer to my parents immediately. "Mom! Dad! Look!" I squealed, racing to them. My brother, who wasn't a fan of water said,
"I wanna go too!" And then we were off. We took a shuttle to the place. I was so nervous! My heart was pounding. I finally got to meet one of my
favorite animals! When we arrived, a helper asked us to get on our swim suits or

My Most Memorable Vacation
The most memorable vacation I've had is when I went to Hawaii. When my parents told me where we were going, I knew it would be my most
unique trip. We usually go on a vacation every few years to somewhere that's warm during Minnesota's winter. Because of Hawaii's warm climate, It
was one of the best choices. Out of the five days we stayed there, one specific day became the crowning moment of the whole trip for me. Even
though the trip would be a long eleven hour flight, I knew it would be worth it.
On that day my family and I decided to go to a beach that was very popular among the locals for its beauty. Luckily I didn't bring my phone with me

We ended up driving around the lot a total of three times before someone finally left. A wildlife protection agency who wanted to restore thecoral reefs
in the Pacific owned the beach. They made everyone who wanted to swim on their beach watch an hour long presentation on the do's and Don'ts of
swimming on their reef. They strictly emphasized on not walking on the coral and staying a good distance away from sea turtles. Eventually we were
allowed to carry on down to the actual beach. The staff members who presented the video led us out through a different set of doors that opened to
an overlook of the beach. The sky was partly cloudy with scattered rain storms that covered an area no greater than a football field. Luckily, all the
rain stayed offshore, otherwise it would of been a crummy day. The beach overlook stood above a cliff of black rock that surrounded the back side
of the beach. Looking down, a small cluster of palm trees lined along the base of the cliff which provided shade from the scorching sand. To the
right of the overlook a small paved road connected the buildings on the cliff to the beach below. Most of the people walked down the side of the
road while the elderly rode down on long trailers connected to a golf cart which reminded me of something you would ride on during a Hollywood

My Trip To Disney World In Orlando, Florida
Briskly walking to ride Space Mountain as Disney World opened for the day, I realized that Disney was my favorite place to visit and my dream
vacation spot. My fascination for Disney began when I was young and helped plan my family's vacation. Experiencing new rides, themed meals, and
breathtaking shows make a trip to Disney a magical experience and unique from other destinations. Therefore, if I was given a ticket to travel
anywhere in the world, I would choose to visit Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Planning several months in advance is necessary in order to

Several attractions including the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Splash Mountain would occupy my time as I entered the park. Following those
attractions, I would use the Fastpass reservations that I had reserved for my favorite rides. Afterward, I would immerse myself with Belle and the

tour the park and ride some of my favorite classic attractions like Peter Pan's Flight and It's A Small World. After several more rides, I would walk to
Adventureland and get my favorite dessert, a Dole Whip Float, which is an icy cold mouth–watering treat of creamy ice cream and tangy pineapple
juice. As the park transitions to nighttime, I would find a bench on Main Street and watch the vibrant colors burst in the sky to my favorite Disney

Personal Narrative : My Favorite Vacation
Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something
cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I
have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my
grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the
most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a
ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in thehotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks.
My favorite vacation, so far, is one I went on in September 2015 with my friends Alissa and Jaidah. We all share fandom interests. On the weekend
of September 19, my brother went away to spend his birthday with my dad. My mom shook me awake and informed me I could bring two friends
along to a room in the Dells that we would be occupying. Almost immediately I thought of the duo. I ran downstairs and texted both of them while
packing a bag. They texted back not too long after, and I told them my mom and I would pick them up anywhere from 10–11 that Saturday morning.
We picked up Alissa and she tried to direct us to Jaidah's house, but she wasn't thorough with her

St. Thomas My favorite vacation spot is St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I have been there ten times and every time has affected me in
different aspects. Each year that I have gone, I have discovered something new that makes me never want to leave. The people, food, and culture
are all so unique because I do not witness it on an every day basis. In the islands there are unique sights, sounds, and smells that let me know I am
away from home relaxing and enjoying vacation with family. When we first get to St. Thomas and are ready to finally get off the airplane, it is
not like a normal airplane where we walk through a tunnel to get to the airport. We get to do this really cool thing where we walk down a set of
portable stairs to get off of the airplane and then walk to the airport. It almost feels like I am in a dream with the harsh winds from the propeller
blowing against my face and making my hair a big, crazy mess. When I look to the left all I can see is the bright, crystal clear Caribbean water. On the
right, there are tons of beautifully built houses all along the green mountains. Getting off the airplane and seeing these sights get me excited knowing
that a thrilling vacation has started. I have never heard of this anywhere else other than St. Thomas, but when people are driving and they want to say
thank you, they honk at you. For example, if someone lets us over, into their lane, we would honk at them to say thank you. Another sound that I enjoy

Descriptive Essay About My Summer Vacation
It was a beautiful day to try something new at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. It was a long year in fourth grade, and my family and I
were excited to start our summer vacation. As we pulled our trailer on the southbound I–5 freeway towards San Diego, I could see the temperature
gauge on my father's truck slowly dropping to the mid 70's. We were in a packed car with my father, mother, older brother, younger sister, snacks
and drinks everywhere, and me, entranced by the game on my brand new iPod that I recently received on my birthday. I had gone on camping trips my
whole life so I was thrilled to go to a new beach and campground, but I was bewildered when we pulled into a Costco parking lot. I asked my father,

length, and a black Sharpie to write our names on it. After we had finished, my father came to inspect our work. He concluded his inspection by
placing the surfboard in the back of the truck, implying that we were successful and that it would be ready for tomorrow. I was entranced by the
thought of surfing, I dreamt all night about monstrous waves like in the movies, and gliding along side dolphins as they played in the ocean. That
morning I woke up like it was Christmas, early, energized, curious, and excited. In preparation, I put on my swimsuit and practiced paddling and
popping up on my skateboard as I rode around the campground at seven o'clock in the morning. It seemed like forever until my family woke up and
was finally ready to go to the beach. Luckily, Mason and I only had to walk a total of 200 meters to get the board into the water; unfortunately, half of
the trek was through soft sand, and took over five minutes.
Eventually, we were ready to make our first surfing memories. Mason was elected to go first since he was older and it was his present. My father

Planning Your Perfect Vacation
Choosing a destination for your vacation may be the easiest part of planning the whole trip but planning the details of it is the hard part. Some
people have it down to a science and some do it all last minute. When you wait until the last minute to plan your trip it can end up being very
expensive. I prefer to keep it simple and take my time planning my trip, keeping it as stress free as possible. The first step in planning your vacation is
choosing the destination. Make sure that it is somewhere that you and/or your companion are going to enjoy. If you are planning to go out of the
country, don't forget that you will...show more content...
You're going on vacation so pack comfortably
When you have chosen the location and received your passport the next thing you must do is choose the dates that you will be going on your vacation
but you must also make sure that they corresponds with the climate. If you decide to go to a warmer climate then you may want to go between the
months of October and May because the temperatures are not so extreme. If the hot summer months are what you enjoy, then I recommend that you go
on vacation from June through September. On the other hand, if you choose to go to a cooler climate where it snows in the winter months I would go
during the summer.
After you choose your destination the next thing you must do is reserve your airfare and hotel. This may be tough because there are many websites and
travel agents that you can go through. I have found that it is cheaper and easier to go through Expedia.com. You can book your hotel and flight all
together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with Southwest Airlines is very cheap and they have many one way stops all across the
country and for a cheap hotel that is very nice I recommend the Extended Stay America.
While you are on your vacation make sure you make plenty of time for sightseeing. If you are going to the Caribbean or someplace that has a
beautiful body of water that had lots of ocean life in it then I recommend going diving or snorkeling. This is a great way to get in touch with

summer. The creaking floors and squeaky swing on the lakefront gives it special qualities to show the years of love families have experienced there. I
have many treasured memories at this special location. It bring smells, feelings, thoughts, and emotions that are just what I need to refresh my mind and
soul. Over the years, Tawas has become my favorite summer location because of the beautiful sites of the lake, the soothing sounds of the water, the old
cabin, and the fun memories.
My favorite memory at Tawas is the long jet ski ride to a small island just off the tip of the bay. It has a very old small white lighthouse and a sandy
beach. Other treasured memories in Tawas include nightly fires where myfamily sits around in lawn chairs and makes S'mores with...show more

This feeling of peace, quiet, and nature is exactly what I enjoy about this special vacation place. I have quickly grown attached to the traditional
old brown log cabin in the past eight years. I like the traditional build of old logs, a stone fireplace, and two big windows overlooking the lake. As I
enter the cabin I can hear the creaking of the old original hardwood floor. It catches my eye with the scratches and dents that give it character. My
nose is tickled by the sweet smell of an old musty cabin and campfire. I can feel the unique stress that the wooden walls have experienced over the
years. My mom says, "If these walls could speak image what the stories they could

My Family Vacation To The Beach

  • 1. My Family Vacation To The Beach The time has finally come to embark on your family vacation to the beach, and it could not come any sooner. You've longed to feel the ocean breeze on your face and the sand between your toes for weeks now, and frankly, this vacation has been your motivating force throughout this past semester. The unendurable pain of term papers and lectures has barely impacted you, as you have spent basically the entirety of every class daydreaming about your ever–approaching trip. The warmth of the sun, the splashing of the waves, the bustle of the marina, the smell of the air – all of these features of the trip seem irresistible. However, it is imperative that you make sure to keep your head on straight. All of these pastimes look fun in the moment, but if you do not keep up with the most important task of the trip, you could suffer some consequences in the end. This task easily could make or break the whole vacation: putting on sunscreen. You don't want to return home covered in blisters, bumps, and boiling pain, so do the right thing. Putting on sunscreen is a good deed, so you better slather on the good stuff now, or you'll get burned later. Despite the excitement of indulging in a week full of seashells and coconuts, a lot of ways to potentially muddy the crystal clear waters of your caribbean getaway come to the surface. Did everyone remember their swim trunks and flip flops, and did the plants get watered and the cats fed? What if someone gets injured, or what if it rains all week? • 2. What Is My First Vacation Essay One day I want to go on a lot of vacations one thing about me is I love to have fun travel, explore the world see what's all out there, there are some places I already been to that I'm going to talk about an there is one main place that I been dreaming of visiting one day. My first vacation is when I was younger one of the places I first visited as a child was Orlando Florida my aunt lived there at the time we went to the mall an we went somewhere to get my mother a permanent makeup tattoos. As for me later down the week we went to Disney world I was so excited I seen mickey mouse an all the other Disney characters I also seen someone with a leash an it had an invisible dog on it. It was crazy. We got in the race cars ,indoor roller coaster at the time I had my baby doll an I had it on my lap as I rode on the roller coaster I was so scared I was crying for my mom sorry but I can't do roller coasters ha–ha but other than that I had a great time in Orlando. My second vacation was with my fifth grade class we went to Tallahassee Florida we went inside this building that...show more content... We also went to Miami which is thirty minutes away from fort Lauderdale we went to Miami Florida south beach the water is so beautiful that sand is pretty. • 3. What Is My Best Vacation Essay The best trip I have ever went on was when I went on my family vacation to Orlando, Florida. We went as a huge family, as in my dad's side of the family, I went with my grandma my grandpa my aunt and uncle my two cousins my mom and my dad and my two sisters and a brother, only to meet up with more family. We had went in the middle of June and were going for a week, we took a plane there and back and stayed at a hotel for a day or two. My family and I went up to Orlando for a couple days and then we drove to Miami, Florida to see my cousins because they used to live up in Miami. When my family and I first arrived we went to our hotel and got all situated, it was dark out and we were hungry so we decided to go to one of the most popular restaurants,...show more content... By this time the cousins we were waiting all day to see were sleeping and my aunt came down and got us all set up and ready for the next week in Miami. The next morning we were sleeping in because we were so terribly tired, but our cousins woke us up. And we havn't seen them in four years since that trip and there my best friends. We spent our first day swimming and getting used to each other, for the rest of the days we were signed up for beach camp with our cousins, that's where you would surf and swim and tube and see new animals and learn spanish and meet new friends. And then after that we would swim more and fish and take pictures. My favorite part of the trip was going to my first NBA game. It was the highlight because I got to meet the teammates from Miami Heat and we were part of the family room so we got to eat fancy food and play basketball and just have fun. The funniest part of that night was I was walking by the court and they were announcing the player and I was standing on this circle and all of a sudden flame is shooting out behind and I look down and I was like 'oh, shoot' and jumped off of it before it went up in flames, It was very scary. That was the best trip I went on, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Favorite Vacation Spot My Favorite Family Vacation Spot As soon as I got of the plane and breathed in that City air I new my life would change for the better. I was waiting for this day for the past several months. It was the first time I would go with my father and brothers on their "Boys Only Vacation". I was thrilled at the fact that they would finally let me tag along with them. This year they decided to go to Washington D.C. I had never been to D.C before, and what made it even better was the fact that around the time we would arrive it would be snowing. It was my first time ever seeing snow with my naked eye. So when the time came we headed out to Tampa International Airport. We checked our bags, went threw security and waiting in line before entering the aircraft. It was about a 2 hour flight before we arrived in the place that now has my heart till the day I die. As soon as we stepped out the Airport my eyes were widened by the site of seeing snow for the first time. The snow felt as if it was made out of a snow cone machine. The sound of my feet stomping in the snow like stepping on packing peanuts is the sound that I will listen to for hours. After about a quarter of a mile walk we got to the subway station where for the first time I experienced how busy big cities can be. We got our cards and headed downstairs to where the subway trains were. The sound of a jazz musician playing Duke Ellington's "Rhapsody in Blue" made me want to give the man all the money in my pocket but sadly I couldn't. There was also the smell of chili cheese dogs that the people next to us were trying to scarf down before the train arrived. Finally it arrived and this was my first time on a subway car. The feeling of my butt on the rough "cushioned" chairs wasn't the best feeling in the world. The sight on many people from Jamaican to Irish was one that I haven't seen in such a small compacted space. I could also see the sight of Jefferson Memorial and the Potomac River as we passed them was breathtaking. We passed a few other sights such as the Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial and the WW2 Memorial. As we walked off the train we could hear the conductor giving everyone safety instructions and telling them to step away from the doors. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Essay On My Vacation Everyone has gone on some form of vacation in their lives. I have gone on many vacations that have been very hectic, but the cruise that I went on might have been the craziest. It all started with how we were getting to the port in South Carolina. We couldn't fit me, my younger brother, my younger step–brother, my older step–brother, my older step–sister, my aunt, and my stepmom all into my stepmom's tiny BMW, so we had to rent a big van. When we got to the car rental place, it turns out that the company had accidentally gave the van we rented to someone else. After my stepmom did a little bit of yelling, we got an even bigger van for less than the other one. Next comes the 13 hour car ride. My 7–year–old step–brother, Max, wouldn't sit still the whole ride and kept screaming at his I–Pad every time he lost his game. My 10–year–old brother, Ryan, was sitting right next to Max screaming with him like he was still 7. My step–sister Emma and I were very annoyed and tired, so we both took about 3 melatonin gummies and tried to fall asleep. That's when the car ride went bad. My brothers were being loud the...show more content... The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The sand was as white as snow and there were no shells, trash, or anything on the beach other than chairs and umbrellas. The water was crystal clear and even when you were in the ocean up to your neck you could still see the whole way down to your toes. You could see fish swimming around your ankles and there were dolphins out in the distance. It truly was a perfect beach. Myfamily and I all swam with manta rays and then Emma and i found our friends and played Bocce and volleyball on the beach. The only scary part of that day was when we were getting off the ship. One of the crew thought it would be a good idea to jump off the ninth floor of the ship. He was a little banged up, but he was still walking around smiling and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Descriptive Essay About Vacation Max Mudger Mrs. Oncu DE 11 30 October 2017 Narrative Essay The air was filled with salt and warm sunlight. The waves were crashing against the Hawaiian sand causing a beautiful and relaxing sound. With flapping wings and squawking noises, seagulls were stalking tourists in the search of food. The soft, hot sand was soothing to the touch. The palm trees danced in the swaying wind and the aroma of distant barbecues and sunscreen wafted in the air. As a native Floridian, the thought of a Hawaiian vacation was appealing. Hours of waiting began to accumulate when I was informed that my flight to Hawaii had been rescheduled. My frustration built as I sat and anticipated the start to my vacation. After the airplane trip to the islands, I...show more content... Crowds of people began to funnel in to this one location on the beach. I imagined that an animal had washed up on the shore and could not get back into the water. My curiosity grew, and I left my chair to follow the path of everyone else down the shoreline. Upon reaching the scene, I became aware of what happened. I stared down at a little girl who was lying face up and was unresponsive to family members calling her name. It was evident that she had drowned and was on the edge of death. Life guards began to pound on her chest and start chest compulsions. She continued to stay motionless. Quickly, lifeguards began the operations of CPR. These long and tiring procedures made the lifeguards physically tired. The rest of the family bickered back and forth on whose fault this was. "Why couldn't you just watch her and do what you were told?" I heard behind me. The father screamed, "It was not my responsibility to do that, it was yours!" The clear frustration began to build and caused more confusion. The lifeguards circling around the little girl seemed frightened. Leaning closer to hear the rumors being spread throughout the crowd, I unintentionally noticed the disturbing sound of gargling from the little girl. She had regained consciousness, but could not breathe due to the water trapped in her lungs. Policemen arrived on the beach and began to push back the imaginary boundaries surrounding the circle of lifeguards. The police advised everyone to leave the beach Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. My Best Vacation "The best vacation ever!" my cousin Vicky screamed from the bed next to me. I was just trying to fall sleep, but she kept talking most of the night with her twin sister Emma. We all have the same age, and this is the first vacation we have without parents, aunts, and uncles around, telling us what to do. We arrived to Los Angeles, California at 11:00 pm, checked into thehotel and tried to rest. The next day we planned to drive around the city and wait for our friend Annette, who was coming from Texas. Annette was around twenty years old, but she had been traveling around the world with her father since she was 13. I admire her, she is funny, has a good temper, and is really knowledgeable about traveling. We are going to fly together to Mexico City first, and from there to Acapulco. We planned to go to "La Quebrada", it's a place in Acapulco where people do cliff diving. We had done some research about it. The divers have to climb the cliff and do a freestyle jump into the water. We couldn't wait to be there, Annette was going to be really happy too, she used to compete in platform diving when she was in high school. The hotel room phone rang pretty early the next day. Our parents checking on us, making sure we were ok. Emma talked to her mother and assured her that everything was ok and that we will be careful driving around. It was funny, I looked at her facial expressions meanwhile she is talking, and Emma rolls the eyes and nods a lot. Emma is the opposite of his sister Vicky. Vicky talks a lot but she's a scary cat, on the other hand, Emma is quieter but really adventurous. "Liz, my uncle wants you on the phone!" Emma announced. I picked up the phone and got myself ready for the lecture. My father was concerned that we were going alone to Mexico. I promised that we were going to stay in Acapulco a couple of days and go back to California. "Don't do stupid things" my father continued, "and, take care of each other." Annette arrived at midday, we were happy to see each other again. We decided to go the movies. • 11. Narrative Essay About My Best Vacation It was Mexico three years ago. My dad's job was celebrating in Mexico and our family ( which is my brother, mom, and Maria) could come with him. We went to this 5 star resort by the beach. IT WAS AMAZING! There were so many pools and the hotel room was so fancy! The aqua blue ocean was so warm, that it felt like there was a heater in the water. We went swimming multiple times and I think i saw a whale jumping from the water. Everywhere I looked, there was something new to see. Other than the fact that I got sunburned a lot, I thought that this was an awesome vacation. We could even bring our nanny, Maria. We spent mornings eating breakfast from the giant bufe and afternoons were spent swimming or finishing my rainbow loom bracelet. The evening was for eating yummy dinner and facetiming with my friends. I was exploding with joy. When my dad had free time from work, we were browsing around and we saw a stand with a bunch of pamphlets. Dad and Mom said that we got to choose one activity to do. We looked at caverns and zip lining but then I saw it. Dolphins! It said that you got to do tricks and get your picture taken! I showed the flyer to my parents immediately. "Mom! Dad! Look!" I squealed, racing to them. My brother, who wasn't a fan of water said, "I wanna go too!" And then we were off. We took a shuttle to the place. I was so nervous! My heart was pounding. I finally got to meet one of my favorite animals! When we arrived, a helper asked us to get on our swim suits or Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 13. My Most Memorable Vacation The most memorable vacation I've had is when I went to Hawaii. When my parents told me where we were going, I knew it would be my most unique trip. We usually go on a vacation every few years to somewhere that's warm during Minnesota's winter. Because of Hawaii's warm climate, It was one of the best choices. Out of the five days we stayed there, one specific day became the crowning moment of the whole trip for me. Even though the trip would be a long eleven hour flight, I knew it would be worth it. On that day my family and I decided to go to a beach that was very popular among the locals for its beauty. They strictly emphasized on not walking on the coral and staying a good distance away from sea turtles. Eventually we were allowed to carry on down to the actual beach. The staff members who presented the video led us out through a different set of doors that opened to an overlook of the beach. The sky was partly cloudy with scattered rain storms that covered an area no greater than a football field. Luckily, all the rain stayed offshore, otherwise it would of been a crummy day. The beach overlook stood above a cliff of black rock that surrounded the back side of the beach. Looking down, a small cluster of palm trees lined along the base of the cliff which provided shade from the scorching sand. • 15. Personal Narrative : My Favorite Vacation Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in thehotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks. My favorite vacation, so far, is one I went on in September 2015 with my friends Alissa and Jaidah. We all share fandom interests. On the weekend of September 19, my brother went away to spend his birthday with my dad. My mom shook me awake and informed me I could bring two friends along to a room in the Dells that we would be occupying. Almost immediately I thought of the duo. I ran downstairs and texted both of them while packing a bag. They texted back not too long after, and I told them my mom and I would pick them up anywhere from 10–11 that Saturday morning. We picked up Alissa and she tried to direct us to Jaidah's house, but she wasn't thorough with her Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. My Favorite Vacation Essay St. Thomas My favorite vacation spot is St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I have been there ten times and every time has affected me in different aspects. Each year that I have gone, I have discovered something new that makes me never want to leave. The people, food, and culture are all so unique because I do not witness it on an every day basis. In the islands there are unique sights, sounds, and smells that let me know I am away from home relaxing and enjoying vacation with family. When we first get to St. Thomas and are ready to finally get off the airplane, it is not like a normal airplane where we walk through a tunnel to get to the airport. We get to do this really cool thing where we walk down a set of portable stairs to get off of the airplane and then walk to the airport. It almost feels like I am in a dream with the harsh winds from the propeller blowing against my face and making my hair a big, crazy mess. When I look to the left all I can see is the bright, crystal clear Caribbean water. On the right, there are tons of beautifully built houses all along the green mountains. Getting off the airplane and seeing these sights get me excited knowing that a thrilling vacation has started. I have never heard of this anywhere else other than St. Thomas, but when people are driving and they want to say thank you, they honk at you. For example, if someone lets us over, into their lane, we would honk at them to say thank you. Another sound that I enjoy hearing in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Descriptive Essay About My Summer Vacation It was a beautiful day to try something new at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California. It was a long year in fourth grade, and my family and I were excited to start our summer vacation. As we pulled our trailer on the southbound I–5 freeway towards San Diego, I could see the temperature gauge on my father's truck slowly dropping to the mid 70's. We were in a packed car with my father, mother, older brother, younger sister, snacks and drinks everywhere, and me, entranced by the game on my brand new iPod that I recently received on my birthday. I had gone on camping trips my whole life so I was thrilled to go to a new beach and campground, but I was bewildered when we pulled into a Costco parking lot. I asked my father, "Why are we at...show more content... The board came in a heat shrunk plastic cover with the fins, leash, and directions enclosed. We ripped off the plastic cover like it was wrapping paper and gathered the tools we needed: a quarter to fit the extremely large flathead hole on the top of the fins, a knife to cut the leash to the desired length, and a black Sharpie to write our names on it. After we had finished, my father came to inspect our work. He concluded his inspection by placing the surfboard in the back of the truck, implying that we were successful and that it would be ready for tomorrow. I was entranced by the thought of surfing, I dreamt all night about monstrous waves like in the movies, and gliding along side dolphins as they played in the ocean. That morning I woke up like it was Christmas, early, energized, curious, and excited. In preparation, I put on my swimsuit and practiced paddling and popping up on my skateboard as I rode around the campground at seven o'clock in the morning. It seemed like forever until my family woke up and was finally ready to go to the beach. Luckily, Mason and I only had to walk a total of 200 meters to get the board into the water; unfortunately, half of the trek was through soft sand, and took over five minutes. Eventually, we were ready to make our first surfing memories. Mason was elected to go first since he was older and it was his present. Planning Your Perfect Vacation Essay William Vera Mr. Carli Process Paper English 101 at 8am February 27th, 2011 Planning Your Perfect Vacation Choosing a destination for your vacation may be the easiest part of planning the whole trip but planning the details of it is the hard part. Some people have it down to a science and some do it all last minute. When you wait until the last minute to plan your trip it can end up being very expensive. I prefer to keep it simple and take my time planning my trip, keeping it as stress free as possible. The first step in planning your vacation is choosing the destination. Make sure that it is somewhere that you and/or your companion are going to enjoy. If you are planning to go out of the country, don't forget that you will...show more content... You're going on vacation so pack comfortably When you have chosen the location and received your passport the next thing you must do is choose the dates that you will be going on your vacation but you must also make sure that they corresponds with the climate. If you decide to go to a warmer climate then you may want to go between the months of October and May because the temperatures are not so extreme. If the hot summer months are what you enjoy, then I recommend that you go on vacation from June through September. On the other hand, if you choose to go to a cooler climate where it snows in the winter months I would go during the summer. After you choose your destination the next thing you must do is reserve your airfare and hotel. This may be tough because there are many websites and travel agents that you can go through. I have found that it is cheaper and easier to go through Expedia.com. You can book your hotel and flight all together and pay one low price. I have also found that flying with Southwest Airlines is very cheap and they have many one way stops all across the country and for a cheap hotel that is very nice I recommend the Extended Stay America. While you are on your vacation make sure you make plenty of time for sightseeing. If you are going to the Caribbean or someplace that has a beautiful body of water that had lots of ocean life in it then I recommend going diving or snorkeling.
