The document describes two experiments creating basic animations in Photoshop. The first experiment involved drawing a face in stages and using tweening to make the animation move quicker. The second experiment involved creating a black background with a grid, adding X shapes individually, and making different scores for when sets of 3 X's are destroyed. Both reflections note that tweening was used and will be included in future projects to save time, while hand-drawing elements rather than using shape tools.
2. Process
To make the animation I firstly
had to use the pencil line and
drew a face in different stages so
the head and hair were first then
I created a copy and added his
ears the the eyes etc. so it can
appear in a sequence, then I
used the tweening button to
make the animation move
quicker and time efficient.
3. Reflection
The reason for my experiment was to understand the basics of
Photoshop and get used to making a basic animation like getting
used to setting up the timeline and animation settings and
getting used to using Photoshop and changing the different
copies I also I will use tweening In my final project but hopefully
it may be a better product.
4. Process
To make the animation I had
to create the black
background with the outline
of the grid on it then added
each “X” individually then I
had to make a different
score for when each 3 “X”s
are destroyed.
5. Reflection
I will include the amount of tweening that was done as it is time
efficient and a useful tool which will allow me to focus and spend
more time on the actual makings and design of the product. I will
also not use the shape tool as I will try to design everything in
my final product drawn out.
