7. Accounts Payable
▪ Follow the workflow to enter invoices
▪ Assign Session ID when selecting invoices to pay and select that same
session ID when printing checks / EFT vouchers using Pay Selected
Invoices

8. Accounts Payable
▪ Enter ACH payments on AP Invoices using enter manual checks selection
▪ Enter ACH payments as Cash Disbursements to record expense/cash entries
▪ Use Vendor Balances to look up activity including Invoices & Payments
▪ Produce 1099’s from MIP using Aatrix

9. AP Vendors
Record Vendor information on individual tabs including multiple addresses, default
GL, 1099 Info, and Notes. User Defined Fields and Attachments are available for use

10. Adjust AP Invoices
Correct AP Invoice:
Use Reverse Posted document icon to decrease an outstanding invoice
Must know Session ID and Invoice Number of original document to be adjusted
Determine whether you want to adjust invoice as of original date or in the current period
Reversed Document field must contain exact original Invoice Number in order to adjust or reverse invoice

11. Adjust AP Invoices
Correct AP Invoice Part 2:
Reversed Document field must contain exact original Invoice Number in order to adjust or reverse original invoice
However, MIP will generate a warning message to tell you the invoice number has been used and that to continue using this
number will result in changing the original invoice
Click OK to return to the form and continue since you do want to append or change the posted invoice

12. Adjust AP Invoices
Correct AP Invoice Part 3:
Notice MIP now uses the term Appending Invoice to clearly indicate you are changing an original invoice
Transaction coding must include entries to accounts payable type account

13. AP Payments
• Select invoice or invoices to pay
• Make partial payments or filter

14. AP Reporting
Reports include:
AP Aging Report
Invoices Selected for Payment Report (Cash Requirements)
Vendor Activity Report
