What is Tense?
 It’s a form of verb used to indicate the time and sometimes the
continuation or completeness , of an action in relation to time of
speaking
 Tense of a sentence gives you an idea of the time when the incident
mentioned in a statement takes place
FUTURE PERFECT TENSE
 This tense is used to express an act that is predicated to be finished with in a
certain spam of time in future
 Such sentences are formed by will + have + past participle of the verb
 A past participle is a word that is formed from a verb and is used as
an adjective or to form verb tense and probably ends with "-ed," "-d," "-t," "-en,"
or "-n."
Structure
Subject + WILL / SHALL + Have + Verb 3 + Object
Example:
• you will have perfected your English by the time you come back from the U.S
• She will have met her friend by next month
• The guests will have arrived at the hotel by now
• She will have learned Chinese before she moves to China
• By 8 ‘o’ clock tomorrow , I will have taken off for Japan
NEGATIVE
Structure :
Subject +WILL / SHALL + NOT + HAVE + Verb 3 + Object
Examples:
• I will not have finished my lunch
• She will not have cooked dinner
• She will not met he friend by next month
• You will not have perfected your English
• She will not have done her work
• Naya will not have been at market
Interrogative
structure
WILL / SHALL + Subject + HAVE + Verb 3 + Object ?
Example:
• Will she have met her friend by next month?
• Shall I have gone there by next next week ?
• Will Naya have at market ?
• Will I have started ?
• Will you have graduated from the university?
• Will the patient have recovered from the illness?
Question words
structure
Question Word +WILL / SHALL + Subject + HAVE + Verb 3 + Object ?
Examples:
• When will she have met her friend by next month ?
• What will I have eaten ?
• How will they have earned lots of money ?
• Why will they gone to muree?
• Who will have married Aria ?
• When will they have arrived?
Exercise

Present perfect continuous
 It is used for a situation that has occurred in the past and which continues until
that moment
Structure
Subject + has/have + been + V1 + ing + Object
Example:
• We have been playing
• Mia has been competing in flute competitions recently
• I have been writing since morning
• You have been waiting here for two hours.
• He has been getting ready since last three hours
• You have been lying since last 10 minutes
Negative
structure
Subject + has/have + not + been + V1 + ing + Object
Example :
• They have not been talking since Monday
• James has not been teaching at the university since June
• I have not been writing this novel for two hours
• zainab has not been working since three years
• Tom has not been breaking his leg since yesterday
Interrogative
structure
has/have + Subject + been + V1 + ing + Object + ?
Examples
• Has Tara been visiting us since march?
• Has the crowd been rising slogans since noon?
• Have you been saving money for bad times for 5 years?
• Has it been snowing since night ?
• has the mechanic been fixing the car for two days?
Question words

Question word + Subject + had + been + V1 + Object + ?
Examples:
• Why you have been calling me?
• Who have been ringing the doorbell?
• How long have you been playing chess?
• Who you been following her since two months ?
• Why you have been blaming me for no reason ?
