FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE
MADE BY:AYESHA
ASLAM
It is used to express a continued or ongoing action that
will start in future.
And thought to be continued till sometime in
future.(Remember an ongoing action in future which
will continue
till sometime in future)There will be a time
referance,such as since 1980,for three hours from
which the action will start in future and will continue.
A sense of time reference is found which gives an idea
that action will start at sometime in future and will
continue for sometime.
Example:He will have been studying in this school in
2005 and will study in this school till sometime in
future.
• Structure of sentence:
• Positive sentence:sub+aux verb+main
verb(present participle)+obj+time reference.
• I will have been waiting for him for one hour.
• She will have been playing bedminton since
2013.
• By next March we shall have been living here
for four years.
• I will have been teaching for twenty years
next July.
• Negative sentence:Sub+Not inside Aux verbs +main
verb(present participle)
• +obj+Time.
• Sub+will not have been +(1st form of verb or base
verb+ing)+obj+Time.
• Example:I will not have been waiting for him for one
hour.
• She will not have been playing bedminton since 2013.
• Interrogative sentence:Aux
verb+sub+aux verb+main verb(present
particple)+obj+time.
• Will+sub+have been+(1st form of
verb+ing)+obj+Time.
• Example:Will I have been waiting for him
for one hour?
• Will she have been playing bedminton
since 2013?
• Wh question needs more information in
the answer.It uses a question word like
where,why,when,what,how.
• Example:Where do you live?
• What did she do yesterday?
• Where is the station?
• The yes/no question need the answer in
yes or no.
• Example :Do you like chocolate ?
• Is he from India?
• Have you been to japan?
Common Time Expressions
Time expressions that are commonly used
with the future perfect continuous
• By tomorrow /8’o clock.
• This year /month/week.
• Next year/month/week.
What will I do without you?
How will I be when all alone?
What will I have done every night of the week?
How long will I have been home alone?
Since I will be young,free and single again,baby,I
will………

I will be partying.
I will have partied.
