Clear
Messages should be conveyed clearly from the sender to avoid any form of
miscommunication as it can result in confusion.
Be specific with names, dates, and what you are writing about.
Correct
Ensure that your message does not have grammatic and spelling errors. Always use the
right level of language and maintain acceptable writing mechanics.
Complete
Make you have the complete information that the reader needs to know about because
incomplete information leads a lot of back-and-forth communication which results in
waste of time and effort on both ends.
15. Concise
KISS-keep it short and simple. Do not write unnecessarily long messages and avoid
repetition of words at all cost.
Concrete
Bring out specific details and do not be vague. Using specific facts and figures can help
capture the attention of audience.
Coherent
The message conveyed must be kept consistent. Avoid distracting the reader and stick to
the main topic.
Courteous
Be aware of who the receiver of your message is, not everyone is your friend, hence
there should be a healthy relationship maintained. Always be mindful of your word.
