ITWORX HUB “Digital Workplace for Office 365” is a 3rd generation produc-
tivity platform that will connect everyone in an organization. ITWORX HUB
also helps turning ideas into actions through team discussions and a personal-
ized news feed, voice and video calls. Organizations will be able to track
employee reactions and engagement by emoji, comments and shares for con-
tent. Departments will be organized into teams of projects to help collabo-
rate easily. News feed and announcements will have a seen feature to show
who read it. Employees will spend less time creating emails and will update
and share status with internal and external members.

As information continues to grow at an unprecedented rate, more tools exist that enable people
to create their own content, rather than simply consuming existing content. To ensure the right
information reaches the right audience, employees need tools that support two-way communica-
tion and the personalization of content. Self-sufficiency no longer guarantees effectiveness.
Employees need tools that allow them to connect across the organization, leverage intellectual
property and gain insight from one another. ITWORX HUB Digital Workplace delivers on these
goals by cultivating a stronger sense of culture and community within the workplace.
The aim of the model is to be a thinking tool to help you understand where your
DIGITAL WORKPLACE currently is and what options you have for advancing it.
The model is not meant to imply that all organizations should seek to reach the
‘Excel’ or even ‘High’ levels in all areas. Rather, it allows you to consider what
pattern would provide the right template based on your organization’s strategy,
sale and culture. The same might be said of urban planning: a market town may be
prosperous because it retains unique shops and a sense of community. In such
circumstances, building a state-of-the-art mall would not only be unsustainable,
but would detract from existing value.
