Identify different kind of sports as to Individual, Dual and
Team Sports;
Appreciate the history, rules, technical and tactical needed in
participating to any kind of sports through sharing their
insights; and
Apply safety measures in playing games or sports.
3. What is Sports?
Sport' means all forms of physical activity which,
through casual or organized participation, aim at
expressing or improving physical fitness and mental
wellbeing, forming social relationships or obtaining
results in competition at all levels.
5. Activity 1:
The class will be divided into 4 groups.
Each group will choose either Individual or Dual Sports to be described
in a creative manner.
(e.g each group must select a neither one nor two representative to
demonstrate the sports that they’ve act.)
You will be given 5 minutes to do the task and present it to the class.
7. Individual Sports
Individual sports are where you play as one team and it refers to sports
in which participants compete as an individual.
An individual sport is a sport in which participants compete as
individuals.

In individual sports, no partner is
required to compete or play the game,
while dual sports are sports that
require two players on each side.
Some sports, such as tennis, can fall
into both.
Dual sports are typically those in
which two people compete against
each other, such as doubles tennis or
badminton.
Dual sports also typically involve more
cooperation between the two
competitors than individual sports.
9. Differentiate: Individual and Dual Sports
Individual Sports are higher amount of discipline, self-
confidence, focus and passion. The individual play is
solely responsible for winning or losing.
Dual Sports have many variables to be considered to
determine the success or failure of the team. Although
individual qualities and skills are helpful, performance
will not rely on a single talent. A dual performance or
success depends on the collective effort of both the
players.
