2. First Attempt
■ This was our first attempt at a logo and after constructive criticism such
as it looks childish and like a superhero's logo. Matt went home and
made major improvements on it. With the help of the internet I looked
at other film production company logos which inspired the second
attempt which is on the next slide.
3. Second attempt
■ This was our second at the logo and I chose the black background
because it represent mystery which will be involved within our final
piece. Also, the silver contrasts with the black and represents
sophisticated and modern linking back to our film.We learnt from the
constructive criticism that colours mean a lot within a film and by
having red yellow and white it looked very childish and tacky which we
didn't want. By researching it we come to a decision of these colours
because it shows a more professional and formal side to the company
which is the image that we want to have.
4. Feedback for the final logo
■ Whereas before the feedback wasn’t what we was hoping, this time it
was much better. We got things such as it looks much more
professional, major improvement to be for.
5. Company name
■ We chose the name BAMM productions because it was the abbreviation
of all of our names, Bill, Alex, Matt and Marc. Also, it represents our
explosive ideas that we have for our filming.The word BAMM is seen as
an onomatopoeia which demonstrates the shooting of a gun.This links
to the basic themes of a horror/gangster thriller which reinforces yet
again why we chose this name.
6. Company Ethos
■ One of the core principles in our company is ethos.This is to make sure that everybody
stays happy while working and getting the tasks set in the time we have. If we are
happier when making our film and bosting on the blog then we will have a better
performance when we do it.
