4. WHAT WE DID
This was Charlies part, his character profile part. This was taken at
Charlies house and was his background. First we started thinking
about what shots etc. we wanted to use when filming the different
parts of this scene. First it shows Charlie snorting cocaine and we
tried different shots to see which looks best then the police woman
comes in and we had to do this several times as Charlie kept getting
hiccups and he kept doing just as the camera started rolling. Also,
when he head butts the police woman we had to do that several times
as it didn’t look like he head-butted her or he actually did head butt
her.
5. TECHNICAL ELEMENTS
When filming this part of the film it took a
few goes as I said in the slide before. We
used a variety of shots in this but we went
for a high angled shot looking down at
Charlie and the police woman scrapping on
the floor. We decided to use this shot
because it like Charlie has the power in this
scene but in fact at the start he doesn’t as
he is about to be arrested but luckily gets
away. Also, we used close up of when
Charlie is just about to get arrested to
show the facial expressions on his face and
how worried and scared he is.
