I coordinate QA testing for Calypso Risk Service (CRS) and Functional Testing for Calypso
at Wells Fargo. I work closely with development teams to review upcoming changes, bug
fixes, and enhancements. We also discuss strategies to effectively test for a release that will
help in locating any possible bugs. I provide setup, input, and support for Market Risk,

around results in a significantly shortertimeframe. I work closely with business partners, and
production support teams to answer questions and resolve production issues. Tools used to
perform my job as a QA Analyst are: MS Products, Oracle SQL Developer, UNIX
(Linux/Solaris), Datasynapse,Symphony, Anthill, JIRA, Putty, SQL
(Oracle/Sybase/SQLServer), and Quality Center.
.
10/09-01/10 System Quality Assurance Analyst, Volt, Charlotte NC:
Provide QA testing for Calypso Risk Service (CRS) and Regression testing for MarsAnal at
Wachovia. I work closely with development teams to review upcoming changes, bug fixes,
and enhancements. We also discuss strategies to effectively test in preparation of a release and
testing possible bugs found in the service. As a part of CRS testing new tools are being
developed to assist in performing QA testing. I am currently working with developers to test
the tools, and also provide input for additional functionality that will better assist me in
performing future tests. Tasks are completed by running database queries, windows desktop
tools, UNIX scripts, and stored procedures. Results are recorded and saved in an excel
spreadsheet.
03/09-10/09 DCV Test Team Lead, Computer Sciences Corporation, Columbia SC:
I am responsible for working with the BHI DCV project team to understand project scope,
define a testing approach in conjunction with the project team, build a plan for executing
testing, report on testing progress, provide developers with a clear description of problems
identified, assign testing tasks to other testers, build and execute test scripts, and maintain
records about testing results.
Data Warehouse QA Tester, Computer Science Corporation, Columbia SC:
I was responsible for performing testing of the largest data warehouses in the US. I
performed backend testing by creating SQL scripts to meet specific test requirements within a
DB2/UNIX based system. Tools used to perform testing included Toad for DB2 and IBM
DB2 Control Center. I tested functionality of Datastage development to verify accuracy of
data being exported, transformed, and loaded.
DataStage Developer, Computer Science Corporation, Columbia SC:
I was responsible for developing new ETL jobs in Ascential DataStage and change existing
jobs to support database/business requirements. I also worked with business users to define
requirements, to prototype, and troubleshoot issues with original specification submitted.
I updated application changes or new processes in technical specification documents. Once
development was completed, I tested and verified the functionality for the ETL job
documenting test in Unit Test Plans prior to submitting the code as being complete.
Developing ETL jobs required me to be able to effectively communicate with DBA's and the
customer as needed.
08/08-02/09 Software Quality Assurance Analyst, General Information Services, Chapin SC:
I was responsible for performing support, planning, and testing of electronic hiring and
insurance software by working with customers, developers, and business analyst to get
customer features into upcoming releases.I performed backend and front end testing.
Backend testing was through scripts I created. I tested functionality of the user interface to
verify accuracy of data being returned to the user. If an issue was located, I would verify
functionality of stored procedures, views, DAL through the SQL database. All defects and
user stories were logged in Rally. All planning was agile based. Once items were completed
or fixed I would verify the functionality accepting defects and reviewing userstories with the
project manager to get the story accepted and ready to role out in a future software release. I
participated in iteration planning meetings to provide time estimations. I also handled triage
meetings to prioritize defects that needed to be fixed.
05/06-08/08 Technical Specialist, FedEx, Collierville TN:
Responsible for performing technical support, planning, maintenance, testing, and
implementation of electronic technology by working with customers, developers, and
Marketing to get customer features into the automation products. I handled incoming
customer hardware and software calls by remotely logging onto customers systems or walking
them through the necessary step to resolve issues. All issues are processed and answered
within a 24hr time frame.
03/04-05/06 Warehouse Control Systems Analyst, McKesson, Memphis TN:
Check and verify vendor bar-code formats meet HDMA standards and include all required
data points, modify and add bar-code formats to McKesson’s Warehouse ControlSystem
(WCS), and research and respond to vendorbar-code questions.Performed testing of the
systemand worked with developers to resolve any issues. I worked with vendors on issues
with their barcodes to bring them up to compliance. By creating Vendor bar-code formats in
WCS, it assists in keeping the amount of manual input down to a minimum, therefore,
providing increased accuracy in shipments that go out of the warehouse. I also make
suggestion on areas lacking in compliance to procedure that would ultimately hinder the
accuracy of utilizing the Warehouse Control System, which assists in maximizing
functionality throughout the warehouse. I was a lead in assisting with Six Sigma projects to
improve standards that will assist in decreasing DPMO and increase cost savings pertaining to
