A hotbed of germs caused by the accumulation of different kinds of
waste resulting in 3 major areas.

Affecting all ecosystems existing in the water
➢ Soil pollution
The hazardous chemicals that get into the soil can harm humans,
animals, and plants
➢ Air pollution
The stink of waste in the air disturbs and distorts natural balance

1.) First bin is recyclable wastes

think is useless can be
recycled
● Categories of waste
● Separate wastes to dry
waste and wet waste
❖ Recyclable wastes
❖ Food waste
❖ Paper
❖ etc
22. How To Segregate Waste At Home
2.) The second bin will be for
non recyclables items i.e.
things that cannot be recycled.
23. How To Segregate Waste At Home
3.) Third bin is food waste
● Composte
● Feed it to the animals

In 2007, Thailand is in the top ranks in generating huge amount of organic waste in the developing countries. 48% of the components are organic waste, and around 40% is plastic, paper, metal, and glass, as shown in Figure 3 (Kaosol, 2007). These figures are quite different from those in developed countries. It might be because of different life styles, as countries with more income are likely to produce more packaging materials, thus creating more paper and plastic wastes (Idris et al., 2004). Bangkok, as a capital city and the center of Thailand’s economy, has a population of 5.7 million people from 64 million people in Thailand (i.e. 9% of total population) (Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, 2010). On top of that, there are 38 million visitors (tourist and excursionist) yearly (Statistical Forecasting Bureau, 2010). This leads the city the biggest waste creator in Thailand (one fourth of total waste in Thailand). It is observed that four major components of those wastes can be recycled, but less than 20% is now recycled (PCD, 2011).

Wet & dry waste is separated at sources, there will be minimum odour & more cleanliness during transportation of waste
-The major barrier in Thailand about waste segregation is bad attitude ( careless)
- Waste segregation is easy thing to do in order to reduce waste, make money, save energy, and also save the world
-Start with small thing as waste segregation, the big result is save the world( environmental friendly)
