1. QUESTION 6
What have you
learned about
technologies from the
process of
constructing this
product?
2. At the beginning of my project and
during my preliminary task, I struggled
with using Adobe Photoshop as I had
never used it before. With the help of
my peers, teachers and from trial and
error, I picked it up quite easily. I
experimented with it a lot to see what I
could do to my images and my work to
make them look more professional and
to also be eye catching and attractive.
3. I also had to learn how to use the
camera that I used for my photo-shoots.
I attended a workshop within college
where we were told about the different
features on the camera and shown how
to use them. This helped me a lot as it
allowed me to get to grips with how to
use the camera before the actual photo-
shoot which means the shoot didn’t take
too long.
4. I also recorded one of my photo-shoots
using my phone and proceeded to edit it
using Adobe premiere pro, which I had
used once previously. I was able to do
this easily with the help of YouTube videos
showing tutorials of what I wanted to
achieve- this was effective and added an
extra media platform to my work. I then
had to upload this video to YouTube,
which I had never done before but didn’t
find difficult with YouTube’s simple
instructions.
5. As I have made websites before, I
found Wix easy to use and very helpful
for presenting my work in a professional
and clear way. I tried to make my
website fit the house theme of my
magazine as much as I could by
keeping colour to a minimal and having
a clear layout on each page. I also
made it easy to navigate and ensured
all my buttons placed worked properly.
6. When presenting my evaluation, I had
to learn how to use websites such as
Powtoon, Prezi and Slideshare. These
helped my present my work in a fun
way, using multi-media, without being
messy or hard to understand.
