What are Tenses?

What does the term Tense Mean?
Tense
Grammar tenses refer to the state of the
verb.
Tense
The state or tense, of the verb explains the
time of the action.
Tense
In English grammar, verbs are often used in a
way that indicate the time of an action,
event or condition by changing it’s form are
called as tenses.
Tense
Three broad categories: -
1. Past Tense
2. Present Tense
3. Future Tense
Tense
Each of these tenses can explain an event
that occurred in the past, an event occurs in
the present, or an event that will occur in
the future.

have already occurred.

2. Present Tense – Present Tense Is For
Actions in the present.
