2. Vote And Make A Difference
One reason why I vote is I know that my one vote can make a difference. I
know that I can choose leaders and representatives as I want.
Texas education system must change for our future. Out of all 50 states,
Texas has the highest percentage of adults who have not completed high
school.
As I support capital punishment, I want the way Texas punishment the
murder. So I want Death penalty punishment should be remain the same.
3. Things I have learned this class
After I take this class, I know many things about Death Penalty. I haven’t
know that government use lethal injection drugs to kill murder before
taking this class.
One things I would like to learn more about is Voting and Political
Participation in Texas. I want to know more about why Texas has low voter.
I was not expecting to learn about Death Penalty in this class but I am glad
that I know many things about Texas capital punishment.
4. Political Issue
One single political issue I believe is the most important is education. Texas
has the highest percentage of adults who have not completed high school.
Many people could not effort to go to school and drop out of school.
Texas should help many student who want to finish school. Texas needs
more attention in education. Education should be number one in Texas
and in this country as well because education is the key to success. If Texas
do not put education as number one, we will fall behind the other states in
everything in the future because education is a key to success.
5. What role do you believe Texas plays in influencing the
federal government decision making?
I believe Texas plays in influencing the federal government
decision making because Texas is a strong state. Texas is the
largest state in United States and Texas is the second most
populous state. Texas also have the second largest electoral
vote in United States. As Texas is one of the largest state, it
have a lot of power in influencing the federal government
decision making.
6. Lesson that I can carry forward
A few lessons I have learned about our government processes this
semester that I will carry is voting and how Texas attitudes toward
crime and punishment. Before I take this class, I don’t know how
voting is important and how it effect in our government. I will take
more serious in voting than before. I know many things about the
criminal justice system in Texas, It will help me a lot in my future as
I know many criminal policy in Texas. After I know many things
about Texas policies, I will know more of what to do and what not
to do in my future.
