2. My name is Soha, I am majoring in
Psychology. I am transferring to University of
Texas at Dallas next semester and after
graduating, I plan on getting into Doctorate
program. I currently work as a pharmacy
technician and I love my job. I love winters,
shopping and cooking. I spend my spare
time in gym
3. More people discuss politics than vote, and many more
vote than join parties or work in campaigns. Participation
in government is in our own self-interest and what
motivates me is that when citizens have all the rights to
vote, and to make things better by participating then why
not avail the opportunity, if our elected officials are not
doing well doing then citizens should have a word. There
will be spend less time than if I am concerned that
someone is violating the rights. If I am pleased with the
government, I will vote and do little else. If I am
dissatisfied, however, i will probably take other types of
action. And I believe everyone should participate.
4. This semester I got to learn many things, which
surprised me in various ways. I never have found
politics to be interesting in any way, and it always
seemed so boring until I took this class which
changed my entire point of view. By taking this
class, I learned about the foundations, development
and features of the Texas Constitution and how
media, interest groups and political parties serve as
institutions to connect people and plays a major
role in Texas State and local government.
Throughout the semester, there were so much of
the useful information and I enjoyed a lot.
5. If they are to face the challenges of the future, the
use of alcohol and drugs as critical societal issues
are facing young people. The rising rates of
underage and binge drinking and drink driving
prove to be the specific concerns. The availability
and toxicity of illicit drugs and the misuse of
prescription pharmaceuticals are also significant
issues. The drug problem is far more difficult.
Existing policies have been of limited success and
the use of illicit drugs appears still to be rising. Here
governments may consider a combination of soft
and hard measures.
6. Texas has control of its decisions within its
own borders.
Texas plays big role in income since it is one
of the biggest state of united states.
It also has so much to do with boarders,
having a huge influence on immigration.
7. After taking this course, my knowledge
gained about the Texas government. And I
believe that all of the information will impact
me in various ways.
The most important thing I learned was that
your opinion matters and as a citizen of
united states, we should all be united and
raise our voices.
