2. I clicked view then show and then
selected grid as I wanted to make sure
that everything was aligned on my page.
This is the grid that then
appeared which helps with lining
everything neatly on the page so
it looked tidy and conventional.
3. I went to edit and selected paste as I had
Previously copied an image that I wanted to
Paste on to my Photoshop page.
This then pasted the picture I had
previously selected and allowed me to
position and resize it where I wanted.
4. I selected edit and then free transform so I
Could adjust the size of the image to fit better
on so it could be seen better .
This is how it looked so the
image could now been seen
properly and adjusted
further to fit the page.
5. In my
magazine I
wanted the
image to be
the main
focus so I
placed it
roughly
where I
wanted it
and then
stretched it
from the
corners to
make it
look in
proportion.
6. I selected a icon off the side bar
that changes the background colour
as I wanted something more bright
than simply just white .
After selecting a colour I
clicked the white space
then turned it pink to
achieve the look that I
want.
7. I added a
gradient from
the centre when
sorting my
background. So
it helped to
emphasise the
main image. I
did this by
selecting the
gradient tool
and choosing
the depth of the
gradient.
8. I used a cut out tool which selects a
particular line and cuts out one
section. I used this to avoid having
the white space behind the
masthead.
This then left me with no white
space around the masthead.
9. I used this to
cut out the
masthead
after I had
copied it from
dafont and
changed it to
make it
orginal.
10. I selected the shape tool and
chose rectangle.
I then made a shape across
the bottom to use as a
banner across the page.
11. To insert text I selected the
horizontal text and created a box
where I wanted the text I then
created a box where I wanted it.
I then wrote the text I
wanted and it appeared
exactly where I wanted.
12. To make it I also had to
look more move the text
convention around to fit
al I had to in the pull
make quote. To do
columns. To this I wrote
do this I the quote first
made two and then
identical wrote around
text boxes it positioning
and the text using
positioned the space and
them using tab bar on the
the grid. keyboard.
13. In this slide I sorted out any
blemishes on model such as spots.
I selected the spot tool which then
allowed me to click over the
blemish and then remove it.
This after using the blemish tool.
It looks much more professional.
14. The model I used had a lot of blemishes on her face so I had to edit them out. This is a
before and after shot to show how much of a difference it made in making the images
look more professional.
15. I wanted to add a drop shadow to the
word “Pop” so I double clicked on the
layer and this box appeared with
options down the left hand side. I
selected drop shadow.
This put a shadow around the
lettering and also gave me the
option of editing the depth of
the shadow as well.
16. I used the
drop
shadow on
everything
on my
contents
page as
once I had
used it for
one thing I
had to use it
for all, it
worked well
as it looked
really
emphasised.
17. This is how I bloat something or
Reduce the size. First I clicked filter
Then went to liquefy.
Then a screen appears like this
Offering me options about what
Tool I would like and my brush size etc.
It then gives me a round brush like the
One that it is at the top left of the picture.
18. In this
instance I
used it to
make the
model
skinnier as
her belly
stuck out
slightly.
This made
the picture
look much
better and
more in
proportion.
19. In this picture I bloated her lips
simply by selecting the correct
brush size and clicking on her
lips, I had to use this on every
picture with this model so it
didn’t look as though I had
edited it at all.
In this picture I edited her size and
made her tummy and legs look
skinnier. I didn’t go over the top
with it as I didn’t want it to look
out of proportion. It works exactly
the same as the bloating tool just
does the oppersite.
20. I used the
bloat tool on I had to keep
the models this up with
lips to make every image of
them more the model to
plump and ensure that
look as though they all looked
she had more the same as to
of a pout to fit not look
in better with edited.
her
characteristics
as an artist.
