Quantity Surveyor
WHAT IS Quantity Surveyor
• Provide advices on procurement, contracts and
project cost management.
• Work as consultants or be employed by a
contractor or sub-contractor.
• Prepare Bills of Quantity from plans, describing
materials, items of work and quantity required
Quantity Surveyor Certified Board
The Board consists of a President, a Registrar, a Secretary and sixteen (16)
members appointed by the Minister of Works, Malaysia.
Act as stakeholder in a contract for consulting quantity surveyor services
to determine and regulate the professional conduct and ethics of the
quantity surveying profession
set up by an Act of Parliament
