2. The technologies that I have used while creating this music magazine are Blogger, InDesign,
Facebook, Survey Monkey, Photoshop, Power Point, digital camera, Laptop, Mac, Slideshare,
memory card. I have learnt how to use all the different features on InDesign to get my music
magazine to look as professional as possible; these features would involve the effects such as
dropping a shadow. I also started off from scratch with learning how to use a Mac. I had to find all
the features as they were not the same as a normal PC. I already knew how to use Facebook,
Power Point and a camera. Blogger and Survey monkey were new to me but they were simple to
understand, although Survey Monkey was not successful in helping me. Another program which I
was my first time using was Slideshare. I used this to share my PowerPoint’s on my blog. I was
confusing to use at first by when I was shown it was easy to get the hang of. The laptop I used
outside of college to do work of my media product was easy to use although sometimes did not
like the format in which the college Mac’s saved my work so I had to learnt ways to get around
this.
